Is TOTY VVD good enough still?

E3 level player, my defense is my weak spot in those games against the TOTS Mbappe, TOTS Ronaldo, and R9. I lose 5 games a week to these guys just abusing my TOTS Lacroix, TOTS Marquinos, and PIM Desailly.

Will someone like TOTY VVD help with that? I worry he might be a little slower acceleration-wise for this stage of the game?

Any comments would be appreciated. I have 3m coins liquid but I just can't bring it to myself to dump those coins into TOTS Varane.

Probably the best tackler in the game excluding TOTS Varane and some of the very expensive bully boys like Gullit and Vieira. He gets found out pace wise though, I replaced him with PIM Rio and found him much better.

ugh....thats what I was afraid of. That 90 acceleration is pain.

I put tots militao in where vvd was and for me he is really good. Not the same defensively, but I kept gett8bg done for pace and militao is great. Gets an upgrade if they beat Columbia on Friday or Ecuador in Sunday.

I’d go with the first team. Marquinhos is a very solid defender and Ederson is better than Yashin IMO. Haven’t used Militao but he looks good and is definitely quick enough to handle anyone.

I played with so many games with VVD (500-600 games) and I perform better after I change him to Carlos Alberto (freaking god) at cb. His partner is AWB who is the best I’ve used this fifa. So I suggest to just save your coins and use these 2 at cb

Cbs aren't good enough to deal with the forwards. Mbabu does deal with everything.

VVD is a solid option. But at that price, you can do the same with less $$$

I have his TOTY UT and didnt use him this week as I bought Varane TOTS in anticipation of EOEA Ramos LOLOL.
To me he is as good as it gets and if he had say 7 more pace he would be the best CB in the game better then TOTS Varane.
His passing ( we all know his defending capabilities) is something else through ball left foot right short pass long pass all rival a more elite midfielder and never let me down.

His pace CAN be a problem (rarely is) but his stam with his pace after min 75 can be an issue queue Red Bambas running at 100kph
