Big surprise? Why do they have to do that? If they unveil it earlier, the will get more people to pre-order the game and get the money into their pocket first. So I think you will be surprised by the way they disappointing you in the end.
Do they make money from releasing the FUT database. Yes. People pre plan what players they will spend thousands to buy based on some silly numbers on cards. Let's hype the database release.

Yes, so the only new faces in La Liga in this last years are a buch of retained scans from 2019: Gayà, Koke, Capoué, Coquelin, Parejo... Only a "complet" scan for Real Madrid and few customs for Barça? I don't think so, between the launch of this Fifa 23 and the World Cup update they should launch something, call me optimist or what you want!

Again: No, it was added on September 23 for FIFA 22. The entry you see for August 16 now is a pre-release entry that was not publicly available at the time. It is confusing and people make this mistake every year.
