Exactly! I am waiting until the first few updates of scans before I buy this year. I ended up waiting to start a career for way too long last year. Career Mode is the main reason why I play FIFA and I guess I can grab it at a discounted price too if I wait. Win-win???
I'm hoping we get more starheads post release than ever before. It would be amazing if we got some more at release. We know the promoted teams have been scanned already from both the Bundesliga and Premiership. I'm really hoping that they scanned more Premiership clubs after the Brighton scans but didn't have time to implement them into the beta. It just seems too few with only Chelsea, Wolves, City, Liverpool and Leicester scanned expecially with Spurs being a partner team. I'm still hopeful of some shocks but at the same time I know not to hold my breathe with EA. They're so good at doing the bare minimum
Well the way theyre phrasing it in German in that post would usually be read as this being something done for "the future", as opposed to Fifa 23. So I'm not a 100% convinced that they did this for any early stage Fifa23.

Very vague - probably requested wording from ea. Which protects them if it’s not until fifa 24. I’m sure they asked rangers to remove the paragraph that said ibrox was coming In a future version of fifa 23 and face scans were taking place in a few weeks

Have to expect more than just Werder have been scanned. All promoted teams at least.
Look at Bielefeld last year. Loads of ppl were saying only they were scanned and it was actually the whole league more or less.
The Werder esports instagram page posted that the faces are coming soon and commented finally a proper career mode
