usually they have a reward that only the people who picked the winner get (sometimes an icon loan or an extra pack)

I’ve always been on the winning side since, but I can assure you the rewards are rubbish...Maybe because I hate using loan players...I’m yet to use about 6-7 icon loan players at my club.

You don't have to buy anything. Just do the first objective and you'll get it for free..
