but I made D1 for the first time last night!
Changed my team up, finally invested in some good / fast CB's (85 Klostermann is a MONSTER) and switched up in game to a 3-5-2. Had more fun, was surpisingly solid at the back and won 4 games in a row from low'ísh 1800
to reach 1900

So, shameless 'brag', I know. But still wanted to post it

Have a nice day !

I just had one, with my morning coffea!
What does your look like now
I'd maybe like it just for that, but affraid objectives would be too hard.
my team (in game, starting on almost full chem)
Neuer
WIF Perreira - 85 Klostermann - 86 Upamacano
81 Davies - 88 Neuhauss - 89 Goretzka - 88 Overmars
KdB NIF
Mahrez 89 - 87 WIF Jovic
I did change it up for the last few matches, had 90 Deco in before, liking Perreira on 10 chem and had the flashback Ronaldo as striker.
to be fair, I didnt play after I reached D1 anymore.. I was scared
see my team
had the same.. was into the 1880+ for about 5/10 times before I actually made it.
The second to last game was a dude that was in D1 (1930 rating) and the last game was against someone who was lower than me (usually that last game is the one I bottle against a D1 player)
I won't ever reach there,,,sweaty games draw the worst thing out of me
For me,a change of formation really helped me. I played 4222 for a long time this year, and the switch to 352 helped a lot.
Also gave me some more pleassure in playing, helped as well. Can recommend trying it out!
Pressure on heavy touch
5 width
5 depth
balanced
6 width (think of reducing this a little as I feel my LM / RM are not doing too much in game in attack at least)
5
3
3
My strikers and cam are all on balanced
RM is come back on defense
RCDM is on cover middle and pass intercept
LCDM is cover wing and stay back.
Thats about it
I've tried Constant pressure and this is just a disaster for me - No matter what players dead by half time and this is with a stacked end-game team with 90-99 stamina in every single position.
Pressure on possession loss is very similar - THey can last a little longer but its just too much stamina drain.
Is pressure on heavy touch (the only one I haven't tried much) a lot better for stamina? I want to take advantage of all the end game players I have with high stamina but when I try constant pressure, pressure on poss loss, or overload ball side, I just lose all my fitness by the 50-60th minute.
It's by far the least draining of the 'pressure' ones. I dont feel the need to do any subs untill 75th minute or so, where usually my RM (who's on come back on defense) is getting a bit tired. For the rest, they do not go below 60% or so in a full game (rivals game, as I dont play WL anymore),
Does that mean you'll player better opposition during swaps starting soon iirc and objectives
Does depth matter a lot? Is there a particular depth that worked best for you and drained the least stamina?
I fear it does ... also I think that I will kicked back into D2 soon as I dont feel I am good enough to stay in D1 anyway
Just happy that I reached D1 for the first time in any Fifa since '17 I think
Not much difference I feel. I do feel it's important to have fast CB's as through balls are a constant thread.
Now playing Klostermann, Upa and Pereira there as they are just .. fast
Exactly what @Gibiati is saying. Doubted buying him a long time but he is truly a monster.
Ta man, I'll give it a go.
IF Soria
89 Campbell 92 Maldini 89 Zambrotta
88 Matthaus RTTF Wijnaldum
88 Acuna 91 Zidane
HL Ben Yedder
WIF Morales 92 Kluivert
Your team seems better than mine, and I feel I am a mediocre player.. so you should be able to make to D1 as well (if you're not there yet)!
4-0 and a RQ are very nice results I would say!
Nowhere near! I'm just way too impatient so tend to make silly mistakes then let my head go 😂
