How have they managed to make the game even worse on next gen consoles? Player responsiveness is an absolute joke. You’d think it would make the game better but no, well done EA the gift that keeps on giving.

No issues on ps5. I'd say it's you. I've a good internet around 40-60mbps I rarely experience buffering. Do you look at your own setup or just blame EA?

I have near perfect connection, ping, packet loss and a broadband speed of 70-80mbs with 18 upload yet I regularly get shocking gameplay on both standard and next gen versions, Xbox. I 100% blame EA for the state of this game. If I can’t get a decent game with my connection on 8-20ms ping then we’re all doomed🤷‍♂️

apperently not, as I have a decent game with about 20ms ping and no disconnects.
And we're not doomed (well, not yet at least..)

For me, next gen on Xbox Series X is awful online - input delay, players turning like tanks, passes only going about 5 yards to no-one.
Old gen on the same console in the same modes is smooth though - responsive, inputs registering as I want them to, feels good.
Same console, same internet connection, same modes (MM, Silver lounge etc), but very different between next gen and old gen.

Next gen is better for squad battles/single player mode though.

I get 80mb download 21mb upload, I don’t lag on any other game. I didn’t feel like my players were this unresponsive back on the PS4, I made the change on the weekend and since I’ve only lost games. I feel like my players are doing some weird ❤️❤️❤️❤️ every time they touch the ball. I’ve gone from division 1 to division 3 in matter of days. This version of the game is broke straight up

Went back to the PS4 version a couple of days ago and it felt much smoother in my case. Did miss the nicer graphics though

🤷‍♂️Who knows what goes on under all the bs in this game but by the sounds of it with very similar internet speeds we get very different results with gameplay. This weekend league I had a shocking day Saturday for most of the day yet when I logged in on Sunday to finish my remaining games the difference was night and day. My connection is stable and very consistent. What changed from Saturday to Sunday to affect my gameplay that bad if it wasn’t my connection? I guess we will never know.

The matchmaking is a disaster ( i switched back just for that reason) but yeah, the general smoothness of the feel is just better.

I have an LG cx55 in game mode which gets 5-13 ms input lag, in performance mode and an internet thats 1.2 gbps and 45 mbps upload with normally 8-13 ms ping. The game is trash and less responsive on next gen. Trap is right

If im getting it, everyone not right next to a server is getting it lol.

just got ps5, will be waiting for fifa 22 to go next gen, as on x box at moment with 21
