Is it bad that I’ve not packed 1 promo player this Fifa?

Played every weekend league getting gold 3 or gold 2.

Done nearly every Sbc for packs like marque match ups etc.

However I’m yet to pack one promo player.

Best pull this year untrade oblak.

Even base icon off last swaps was only 85 Okocha.

Gambled on one mid icon Sbc and got goal keeper van der sar.

Only 1 usable red pick which was last week SIF kimpembe.

Only reason got semi decent team is cos I take coins from rank 1 rivals and have done every free objective player and some Sbc like Bruno POTM. Felix POTM acuna klaiber etc.

Does anyone have worse luck?

Sorry to hear that, mate. Surely such a dedication to the game should be more rewarding.
Sounds like my FUT 20 experience, pretty much no pack luck all year until TOTS.

With so many promos, it is indeed unusual that you haven't pulled at least one promo goalkeeper or low rated card. When we talk about bad luck number of oppened packs is information we don't have but is crucial to understanding.

I can only assume you actually don't open enough packs or do upgrade SBCs - I got mine mostly from bunch of upgrades. They were all low rated but had like 6-7 of them.

Also, do you play SB to elite regularly every week?

Lots of guys here save packs from promos so that could be your strategy for next year also.

Same haven’t packed any, I still believe certain accounts are favoured for certain reasons. My mate had great pack luck at the beginning and then got upset cause it dried up, I told him it’s because you haven’t put any money on lately. He put some money on and that same weekend packed a few promo players, he’s packed atleast 6 promo players since he put Money on at the beginning of future stars

I havnt had one either really wanted a future stars player too, I havnt spent anything maybe if you just put a tenner it might change ?

I have put money in the game and packed 1 special card (FS James). It’s all just luck. Just look at the icon thread where people are getting duplicate top icons and I get the Fantastic Fin who costs 150k.

I have not packed a promo player, apart from guaranteed pack, until TOTY. This was the biggest pull though, TOTY Ronaldo who I sold for >10 million. A day later I pulled TOTY Ramos who I also sold for more then 2.5 million. This financed most of my current team (TOTY Davies, Lewa, Kimmich, Neuer and FS Szoboszlai, as well as HL Goretzka) and I am still sitting on over a million coins. The only other pull was an untradable FS Estupinan. Some lesser TOTWs, but nothing else concering promo players, but who would I be to question pack luck with a >12 million transfer plus.

It's all just luck. I never spend money on coins and most of team is usually untradable, except for those mentioned above of course. I opened a lot of packs, especially on TOTY Basically everything from Rivals and Squadbattle rewards, no Weekend League played so far. Then the Marquee Matchups and daily packs, some league SBCs and upgrades. Spammed also some hard earned coins and bought some packs during promos. I noticed that opening packs off-time is better then when everybody is opening packs. Pulled TOTY Ronaldo on a Sunday morning from a store pack and TOTY Ramos from SB rewards on Monday morning.

Yes of course, my bad. Corrected above.

Another thing I noticed is that I was nearly bankrupt when I started to pull the big ones. The club was dried out with players for SBC's and only the store packs gave me back some players to continue grinding with the high risk to pull nothing of course and burn out on the last coins. I was down from 1.5 million to 150k when pulling TOTY Ronaldo.
Coud be a coincidence though and I would not suggest to do the same. Although 150k is still something you could work up again from, but certainly not much less. It would be a very hard grind from below 100k even with good trading. I was doing it because I had a decent team of untradables that I could live with at the time and was not worried about the coin ballance so much.

I agree with this. I know people that have spent hundreds and continually pack the best players in “free” packs. I’ve spent nothing and the best player I’ve packed has been De Bruyne this week and Oblack (who I’d already bought previously)

This is very true. Don't think I've "packed" a promo card either from normal packs:

HL Benzema - Party Bag
OTW Hakimi - Party Bag
RB Lukaku - Party Bag
FS Lunin - 81+ Player Pick
FS Lainez - 81+ Player Pick
TOTY Fernandes - Prem Upgrade

If you exclude Objective cards (like HL Cunha) and SBC players (like POTM Haaland) that's all the promo cards I've had.

I put in the hours (900 matches so far) and my transfer profit is 1 million. Stupid pack luck.

pulled my first promo player 2 weeks ago in a untradeable prime mixed player pack Future stars RB James, good pull to be honest, went strait into my first team.

You luck is as good / or bad as the vast majority of player base , this is the game we are playing which is totally unrewarding. I haven’t pack any promo card either, so you’re not a lone 😏

Starting to think my acount is broken. And will likely make new acount next year. See to many people pack good red cards and I’ve not ever had a usable 1 until tots

I even started doing the trick someone mentioned on here a few month ago to get better pack luck.

Put a concept player in my main team. Then create another squad. All bronze. Worse chem possible. Make it active. Back out of Fifa. Load it up again and open packs.

Pack luck not improved.

Like people say. I play the game a lot but it getting to point now it not rewarding and Disheartening.

only way I can improve team is by saving coins every week. Get about 110k a week from gold 2 weekend league, rivals rank 1 div 3 and squad battles gold.

I’ve also done stuff like saving packs when a decent promo coming up.

Same as OP. Not as bad... but terrible someone like me who has bought FP.

Recently saw purple flares and it was the cheapest card worth 20-30k. 😂 Before that it was Brandt (togs I think) which I sold for 148k

This is my first ever season, only card I’ve unpacked is Saha headliner card. Outside the SBC party bag etc. If I was only playing for what I get in a pack, I wouldn’t play next year

I've not packed a single promo player in my entire Fifa experience.

Talking the last 5 fifas to whenever promos didn't even exist. Basically in English. Since promos I've never had one. Not one absolutely F all.

Exactly this. I’ve not spent a penny and have had plenty of luck. Eusebio from base icon, Neymar and Mbappe both untradeable (Neymar from a 75+ player pack), toty Davies untradeable, then numerous promo players that will never kick a ball for the club
