People who put controller down in FUT Champs
Are they the worst kind of people this year? Just played a guy and went 3-0 up after 15 minutes & he elastic banded. His team was unreal aswell had CR7, Mbappe, Neymar..
Just wondering why anyone would do this? I know it wastes the opponents time but you gain nothing, how bitter can you be?

hey mate nice meeting you, I remember you gave me some really helpful advice when I first started WL in the summer 2020
This is not the players fault. Its actually a smart move to do instead of quitting for those players who give up instead of fighting to win, because of rivals points they lose if they quit. 3-0 though is completely beatable if you just get hold of your game so imo giving up there means you lack guts..
When someone does this against me i go make some small food, coffee or take a toilet break instead of getting annoyed.
It's annoying, but you can just bang in a couple more goals and rubber band yourself. It's also less stupid than playing people who get multiple reds slidetackling you and use all their pauses... heaven forbid I have to use 1 of my 637 healing cards.

Compared to the toxic 1 depth drop back and spam through balls and celebrate tap ins lot, they're saints.
The worst kind are the hick deads who keep on scoring and celebrating, spamming skill moves while sit back and drink a beer.

Not a personal attack, but my view is the complete opposite of this. I feel like the perspective above only thinks about you, not the other player. It's no fun for the other player to have to play when someone has just set down his controller. Therefore, if I've agreed to play the match, I'm going to play it out the whole way through, regardless of how the match is going for me (delay, annoying tactics, getting hammered by a relegator, etc). Putting the controller down to me is the equivalent of taking your ball and going home, which is something I outgrew long ago.
