Last two games I've lost against a couple of absolute cretins
The last guy set up like this all game. Ended 0-0 and he won in ET with a giant punt from his defence putting his striker straight through
I'm finding this with a lot of the 532 players I come up against. They can pretty much match me player for player over the pitch and it becomes a case of me trying to hit them on the break because I can't get an overlapping run when they have all the width in the world. Even if I do get in a good crossing area they have three centrebacks to head it straight back out.

He didn't match me man for man all over the pitch though. He literally had a straight line of 7 or 8 players on the edge of his box ALL game

I've just hit 20-8, tying me for my best ever finish, going to donate my last two games because I can't hit elite
It's really annoying to have games where you look at the player ratings and you seen players getting 5's. Like, how...? Just stand it the right place all game and that's a 6 surely haha
Lost my last game, 13-3 now, probably going to stop at 14, just wonder how many defeats I have to suffer before getting that last win.
Update 1; 13-5 now from 13-2. Had a couple of deserved losses which is fine, matched some real top players, losing concentration now but just want 1 win so I can leave it.
Update 2; next opponent left at 2-0, I’m done 14-5 I think.

Depends on the context, in my opinion Gold 3 is the best option is you want to get a good reward and not get stressed into oblivion.
I personally push on because I'm aiming for an Elite 3 finish by the end of the cycle. But 14 win is 2 picks and so is 22, so unless you think you can potentially get more than that then their isn't much point in worrying about it over enjoying your weekend

im on 7-1 atm as its my first and possibly last WL, I want to aim a bit higher. So I'll try min gold 3 and see where im at after that.
Again just not as good as I should be..I can't break defences down , and get hassled off ball every where. Got to say I'm fed up of not being able to get behind/ round defenders and mine being open
Was 13-6, very happy aimed towards gold 2 as usual, suddenly can’t win even if my life depended on it. Some bs right there.

My average goals scored and goal against took a battering during my losing streak. I knew at the peak of my elo I’d suffer a streak, it was only 3 losses in a row but I conceded 17 and only scored 3 in that spell.
Star players, Kante was insane, I’d love an SBC version of him. As you can see Bruno was the main man, playing at CAM and he’s outscored both my strikers. The only real let down was Pope, first half of the weekend he was brilliant but the second half he was letting everything in. A shot at height or with finesse he can get to and make great saves, but anything low and hard he’s so slow to get down to, the balls hit the net and he hasn’t even started diving. I kept meaning to put DDG back into the team but then I’d start a game and think oh **** I forgot again 😂.
41212 wide is the most balanced formation I’ve used and my team fits into it pretty nicely.

Defensive 5 width, 4 depth, balanced
Attacking 5 width, 6 players in box, long ball
LB/RB stay back while attacking.
CDM stay back, cover centre
LM/RM nothing changed except get into box for cross
CAM get into box, come back on defence. I find having a CAM with high/high and those instructions will get into the box and score goals but he’ll also track back and help out while defending, so needs high stamina or to be subbed after a while because they’re demanding instructions.
ST the bigger/stronger striker on stay forwards, stay central, target man. Second striker, usually smaller, quicker, stay forwards, stay central, get in behind.
Nothing special about the tactics really. CAM is probably the most important in terms of my tactics and instructions. People will think having my CAM on come back on defence is negative and boring but I find with this formation your CDM will be isolated if you don’t do it, and my CAM finished with more goals and assists then both my striker this weekend, so it’s not negative, it’s just great having a CAM with those work rates and instructions, as they provide attacking and defending abilities.
Or just change completely. 4321 is pretty good and 4411 feels balanced too.
I’m at gold 3 and leaving it there. Been a pretty average weekend with no daft win or loss streaks. I’ve still got 5 games left so might play them tomorrow or get some objectives done.

TOTY Neuer is an abosolute wall, I went 2-0 down brought it back to 2-2 only for the game to DC in the second half of extra time as I put a corner in
