Before you load up FIFA points for TOTY

Think about your gaming experience this year. Do you like and enjoy the gameplay or are you frustrated because of delay / bad gameplay etc? If you did not enjoy, TOTY Ronaldo and Messi won’t change anything since they will also feel like moving in the mud, they will be caught by 70 pace defenders, their passes will go wrong etc .

Saying this as someone who played with those top TOTY s and icons in previous years under heavy delay.

You know you are not allowed to load up coins, right?

I can totally relate to that. Last year I saved up for TOTY Messi and loaded up FIFA points since I was 600k short.

I finally bought Messi though he was turning like a truck in delay. I mean it is Messi how on earth TOTY Messi feels that way? I quit afterwards and still regret that I spent money on packs

Haven't spent a penny beyond base game this year and still don't plan to. I could quite easily as I'm an adult with a job and disposable income (would probably get a lecture from the wife though) but why would I want to give EA more money?

Same here. If the gameplay did not have this delay/ bad gameplay I would not mind spending 100 here 100 there since I can easily afford it.

But with the current state of the gameplay, no way

Fifa is one of the few games I play all year so it’s worth it. I should of bought fifa points at the start of the year when the value was higher. Was up in the air with next gen and all that. Have had such a good time with friendlies I regret it now.

Next Civilization 6 DLC is out next week. Much better value for money than buying Fifa Points.

This happened to me with Eusebio. The Eusebio that can turn in a dime. He was hardly making a difference in delayed gameplay.

True but honestly my money would havr been spent on that at the casino anyway so try my luck to get toty Lewandowski and end up packing dost still is what i must do.

Anyone who buys fifa points needs to have their head examined. Game is an absolute shambles at the moment. Lag, delay, any amount of ridiculous things happening in a match.

Even when the gameplay isn't horrific I still don't think it's a good game. Amount of PTB counterattack and every goal seems pretty much the same.

All in all I can not see why anyone would buy points and give EA any more of their money. Even if you are stupid enough to buy points your chances of packing a TOTY are next to none. Don't do it!!

I am pretty sure if everyone had good gameplay, with no bullsh1t, where everyone felt that the games were decided on skill and not some random outcomes. EA would actually make more money from sales of FP.
I mean I would buy some tonight. But whats the point? . Having the best players makes zero differenc in laggy/connection based gameplay.

FIFA 19 and 20 were a mess, but 21 takes the cake. Hell I even sold my PS4  . Hopefully 22 will be better, and I’ll consider coming back on ps5.

The content is good, and making coins is not that hard, but the gameplay was a total mess, even on the games I won.

Come on EA, you can do better, next gen is your chance to redeem yourselves, because if Konami manages to make a decent game, people won’t even care about all the licensing.

So yeah, save your money! Go buy a good meal, get a nice sushi roll, a big chunk of steak, because improving your team with your hard earned cash is just not worth it, but hey, it’s your choice.

No! Just don't do it. They need to start to do better with the game, before more money is thrown at them.

    Better that than packs.

Spent £13 on Borderlands 3 season pass, will give me more joy than a pack
