Finished in 16 wins, ended up having to win 1 in 1 for g2. Lemme tell you about my last game.
Team name is i kante breathe, so you know he's a cool guy. Has a ridiculous team, 5 icons, rb mbappe, rb van dijk, neymar etc. Spams keepy ups EVERY SINGLE ATTACK. I can defend it a bit, but you do it often enough and the odd volley with mbappe is gonna go in. Oh and he had an INVISIBLE BALL, not invisible but you know what I mean. Actually gave me a headache just following it on the screen. And he celebrated every goal. And watched replays. Classic fifa init.
Hate people like this; proud to say I didn’t celebrate a single goal this WL. I do wish I took my stats down for goals and assists though CR7 been naughty all weekend

Haven’t faceD Ake once this WL. Wish I was facing him instead of the legends and super defenders I faced this weekend. I’m convinced that newcomers get more favourable match ups. Had my first WL 4 weeks ago and my match ups were a lot easier.

Maybe it is easier, but almost every team i faced had Varane/Mendy in defence, Mbappe/Neymar up front and loads of Icons (some which were unplayable like Eusabio, Pele).
It makes me feel like a poor relative, as I am limited to 1st owner squads and 1 icon (86 Lampard) from the swaps base SBC.

To be honest, I thought you were saying that you were facing Ake, Gomez and Morgan, but trading back that’s actually your defence. I’m not dying to rain on your parade, you did well.
Yesterday was bad, with 80+ ping and experimenting with 3 atb, so had a really low expectactions for today with only 4 wins to enter sunday.
Turned out I finished G3 with 8 unplayed games left so it was easier than ever, and with some new strategies with 442 - boring but less leaky.
My dutchies were great, but unfortunately had to bench Robben and return Van Bergen who scores from unholy angles and is just awesome little clutch card, Robben was also good from the bench after 60 min, with good enough base stats to make a difference.
Malen scored couple of sneaky, cheeky goals here and there, but could really use +2, not sure if +1 will be enough in the long run. Depay scored his 200th goal and I'm especially proud of that since I've regreted SBC and started using the card again only to link the Dutch with League 1 crew.
Vidic was also awesome, and, plot twist - Traore is actually better from the bench as CM supersub, scoring and intercepting all over the pitch.

I got a bit of fan mail tonight. Basically telling me my playstyle was ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and and kills the game. I am assuming this was from 1 depth park the bus opponent that I refuse to attack in the last ten minutes because when you do they just spam a no look long through ball to his striker and inevitably equalise.
I expect my opponent to come out and play the game when they need to score and it's not for me to chase the game when I am ahead.
Usually finish G3-G2 and this time went 12-13 at some point. Was ready to get an underwhelming G3 but somehow managed to win 5 games in a row. Feels good, man, moments like this really make you forget the ideas of quitting FUT
Quite tough. Up to the Rangers game I was 9-10. Enjoyed my game and came back on after suitably oiled as well with 6 or 7 beers. Maybe it was that calming affect or trying Freeze Nani up front from the start with potm Felix,,, but came back and won every game. Finished Gold 1 ,, 20-10. That was 11 wins in a row lol,,, might have to play WL with beer from the start next week lol.
Friday was amazing game play I went 8 and 1 Saturday was awful I went 3 and 0 but it was literally unbearable. Today was the worst by far gameplay was so horrible and players that sit on 1 depth and drop back in bad gameplay are near impossible to break down. Only won 3 games today to finish on 14 with 7 left think that means I lost 8 today all in a row and it was just not fun so it was back to warzone and won't switch FIFA back on til Thursday.
14-10... satisfying WL for me as I started out badly. 1-5 earlier and I wasn’t scoring goals. Got me alittle worried initially. Later the streaks evened out itself.
My 1st ever G1! Well happy with that, 20-10. I Got to G2 and had 5 games left and thought sod it let's give it a try. Had a couple of games that became ping pong because connection was bad but came out on top luckily. Last game they had great team + pele, I could barely get the ball of them had my lowest possession ever. He was clearly better than me but trouble was he ended up constantly giving it to pele and trying to do loads of skills and score. I got 2 early goals in 2nd half and they quit, was v happy! Again though cant believe how good HL Cunha was. Only did him as running a Bundesliga team and didn't think I'd really use him, so glad I did!!

TBH Ake frequently outperformed Gomez on the right hand side of a back 3.

Started again and quit at 14-13
Decided to just chill out and play my last 3 games, won all 3 comfortably and ended 17-13 to secure g2

Until EA fix the servers and sort out this mess of a game it's pretty pointless playing to be honest.
