I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, apologies in advance if it isn't.
After telling myself I was going to skip this year, I eventually cracked and bought the game for myself as I always end up doing. Before I start any new career modes, I take a day to sit and rename every generic stadium in the game to give myself that extra little bit of immersion in career modes.
Everything was going smoothly and I'd pretty much finished, so I decided to make sure everything and saved properly. All was well until I got to the MLS (which was the last league I did) - not a single stadium name had saved. Assuming I must have pressed exit without saving instead of save and exit, I renamed them all a second time and checked again. They still hadn't saved.
Pretty irritating that this is happening, especially considering I was planning on doing an MLS career.
Anyone experienced this or know why it's happening?

I do the same every year and it normally stops saving somewhere into the international stadiums as they are the last ones I do.
I haven’t done it yet though, as I have a horrible feeling that when they add any of the outstanding stadiums like Elland Road into it, it may reset all the names.
That make sense, although it seems a bit pointless to put a limit on how many stadiums can be renamed.
I usually only rename the European and MLS stadiums but this year I thought I'd do them all. It's annoying that I can't even remove the names of the Asian/South American stadiums and then change the MLS ones.
Thanks for the reply anyway, may as well get my saves underway!
No worries. Yeah you’d think they’d at least set it up to allow you to rename them all. If you do get stuck, maybe try changing the default stadiums for the teams to other generic ones. That might help remove the names of the ones you want to get rid of. Might take a while though.
Yes! I’ve wanted this for the last few years. It would save so much time.
I’ve found the work around for this in previous years has been to change your favourite team in your profile setting to one from the league you want to edit. It then takes you into that league each time.
Means you have to change your favourite team every time you want, but saves a bit of time.
