Just noticed the colour flicker in a match. Definitely not a TV problem, that's an issue with the game. Hopefully they fix it because that will get irritating.
1 thing i hate is how this is on pre patch... the blocks are still insane, yesterday it wasn't this bad.
Why is ps5 still on old build I wonder?

While we have attempted to include as many of the changes and issue fixes that have been released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of FIFA 21 since it launched in October, there are some that were unable to be included in the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X|S version in time for launch. This is because final development of FIFA 21 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S was still taking place when FIFA 21 was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. These changes will need to be added later via Title Updates or via Server Releases.

Tried a draft match was terrible, 28ms does it have a different server, all my Rivals are 20ms, makes me think the games good atm because less people on the servers.

You can go back to PS4 version, right? I plan to play SB on Series X version, but any online games on Xbox One version until next-gen is more populated.

i think so mate- but i am enjoying the gameplay so will persevere- I am not overly focused on winning just like playing a decent game- if i win great , if not- i will get over it .....eventually

I had quit my last 30, until this upgrade now won 4 out of 4 infact didnt just win I destroyed the opponents who had Mbappe and multiple icons. My best player is Sane then Havertz.
If you can control your players anything is possible, I always go attacking but my defending was terrible because everything was so slow no reactions, now im straight into a tackle before my opponents can get the ball. Always could read the game but couldnt do anything about it.
Right, my very first impressions after testing in squad battles (I always use this as my reference, as it is not as subject to connectivity issues).
Basically, this game was not meant for previous gen at all and they hacked something together from 20 to make it work on the old platform!!
Bit more in depth...
Dribbling is a joy now, because of all the extra touches.
Tackling in my games was much more reliable.
Player switching was much more reliable.
Camera angles for my preferred tele broadcast setup are much better, with a wider (L/R) field of vision.
Everything was more responsive.
Passing was better.
Ball physics was much better.
Still loads of flaws as per the current gen version and they won't be changing this year, but a massive difference.
*I should add, that online may still be subject to the dreaded delay issues, but that is not really relevant, other than as a standalone and ongoing problem.
I mean some of the stuff you claim is basically impossible given that old gen is the same game just scaled down a bit.
It could very well be possible and to do with resources.
The new gen can likely read inputs and react quicker, with smoother animations and a solid framerate that would cause a drastic improvement in feel of the game.
The same with ball physic's, and AI etc.. the new gen can do the math much quicker therefor again better feel and gameplay. The genuine only one I think is unlikely with next gen is field of vision.

On next gen, Rivals is good for me atm, draft is delayed. So is probably just because less people on the servers.
Does it fully replace the PS4 version on my ps5 or will I have both? I ask because I live in the US. There is a smaller pool of players to begin with and I don’t expect to be able to find consistent games on ps5 for a while. Would like to not have to switch back and forth between consoles.

Because for some reason i'm unable to download the Madden upgrade.... which is quite weird

It increases with fatigue. It’s a nice idea but annoying to play with.
I notice keepers don’t come for corners which was like three patches ago.
