Co-op rival points

Playing with a friend who has already completed their 30 rivals games.

When I play with him does that mean I will also not get any further rivals points?

I have played 19/30 games and I only have 3390 points so far and I've won about 15 of those games in division 3/2

Does this seem right?

Am I correct in thinking that because my friend has completed his 30 games I will also not get any rival points during co op games?

no that doesn't sound right, at all. You should have at least 10k and that's if all your wins were 1 nil.
