I stopped playing in early April bc of the poopshow that 20 was. If it is somehow worse, I can safely say this will be my last FIFA. I'm excited for 21 but not nearly as much as I normally am. I have 0 expectations for gameplay; I'm just hoping I enjoy trading and team-buidling up to about January.
Not buying but would like a return to the old style forums we had. This section is a graveyard nowadays.
Is it?
Compared to what it used to be. There are of course a few active threads, and they are important, but it's not like it used to be. You know what I mean.
Even in offline modes, playing the games is the most boring thing & has been for years. I don’t expect that too change.
The key to keeping the fun going is to not overplay and work towards long term goals. There’s 0 fun in getting a super team in one month and then ending up in division 1. I’ve found having a poor team and struggling to get out of Div 3 / 4 etc is actually more interesting as it allows a feeling of progression.
I suppose if I played WL then building an elite team to get to Elite would be a thing, but I don’t have time to play on a weekend & tbh I’d rather watch real football when I get some free time.

It wont be much different than 20, 21 will be a minimal effort job as EA will focus on 22 for next gen, I'm not bothering with 21, got PES 21 which is just an update and that will do until the next gen versions.
Predictable based on past experience; new console means split the team and do minimal effort on the old one plus a new console version with some missing functionality that gets added back in the next few years.

But the 'improvements' are questionable every year.

Content is the most important thing for me, gameplay is never great so it is what it is.

Hope I’m wrong.
Talk that talk
Still feel the same as you did 5 months ago?
I do, surprisingly.
Much better imo.
I found Fifa 20 trash so it wasn't hard but Fifa 21 is much better to me despite not being perfect.
