When I was buying him a few weeks ago I was aiming for 4.57 or under missed out on one around that went up 100k spent a few hours trying to get a decent price and just didn't buy him. Set your limit of what you'll pay and don't pay a coin over imo.
I guess if you have to have him to make your team work you pay whatever I guess.
Also Thursday at this time is about the deadest time of the week apart from very late Friday that you could buy him, just before the promo is out tomorrow if you want to get a cheaper price I'd think .If not Saturday afternoon when the top players are finishing their games and selling.

My team would work in the same way with Vieira or Zidane. But I wanted Ruud so screw that just because you have to pay 50k more than you wanted. That's like 1/90th of his price. In the grand scheme it's irreleveant.

Ruuds so worth it , everywhere on the pitch and can do everything .
Think I got him for 4.5 a month ago, no point waiting anymore , I miss the days where they’re leased premium icon sbcs and I could actually grind to obtain the likes of r9, gullit, r10 , cruyff etc now it’s a right struggle to get anywhere near those types of player
Hopefully some decent players get released that make me want to play more - will probably just play Sunday and keep going until I lose . Not expecting another weekend like the last .
These must be big upgrades tbf, the Wolfsburg one has 94 pace, that can only be Mbabu, Rousillon, Joao victor and that’s a massive upgrade.
Tbf if these are generic upgrades and for example Mbabu just gets +5s across the board then the upgrades wouldn't even be that big. Mbabu would still not even have 80+ defending.
If it's actually Mbabu and the upgrades are great tho...

Nif Ronaldo
Mid Cantona
Mid Cruyff
Cantona & Cruyff as strikers
nif Ronaldo is a decent finisher but without good gameplay he'd be better off out wide than the other 3 (when everyones box is crowded).
Cantona wouldn't suit the wing as much as the other 3, so had to be up top.
Cruyff/Eusebio could be either but due to Cruyffs 5* i'd put him up top, last year it'd be Eusebio.
