Anti Cheat On Steam for FIFA 21?

Iv heard something about an anti cheat software that will be applied on steam for the next fifa: what ya guys think? Would it be possible? I think it would be a smart move by EA cuz many ppl are thinking of playing fifa 21 on pc while waiting for next gen consoles, but right now its a mess bcz of cheats... and nobody would buy it. They would gain so much money on PC too, both for copies sold and packs

no, steam is just a client to launch the game and sell more...

EA has to implement the AC on the game itself, and most likely, they will not...

After the backlash of doom and valorant I would be surprised if ea add a better anti cheat. Kind of a shame it’s so common on pc gaming. Would think the pc community would be more for it.

mhh in that case will not buy fifa, played '17 on pc was so trash bcz of cheat engine, both in draft and divisions couldnt finish a game... Dunno what the fun is in using those cheats really, they dont even play the game they paid for, just click a button, dc and win.
Might try pes'21 pc while waiting for next gen, too bad no ah, no wl and pass system suck; dunno why they cant copy what works in fifa, cuz gameplay is not so bad on there

the game is free for the cheats mate , they can do everything including online play with the cracked exe . EA is a bad joke that needs to be shut down.

What a sorry ❤️❤️❤️❤️ excuse... you think every anti-cheat needs to be an invasive rootkit like Valorant's?

Even a half decent anti-cheat like VAC would be sufficient... the cheating in this game is extremely basic to counter, it's not aimbot or wallhack, it's literally changing an outcome of a game... this is something that no serious game ever had an issue with.

I play on PC, don't have a console. FIFA Seasons is plagued with cheaters. I don't know what to say or do. When 4 out of 6 matches you go up against a cheat who either lags your team or voids the game when they are about to lose or draw, you begin to wonder what the point of playing the game is.

I know EA can't track everything but surely there must be a better system that can be put in place to turn the tables on the cheaters? I dunno.

I'm pretty fed up.

What's good though is when I have a good opponent i.e. an opponent who is not cheating. Even if I lose then that's a fine because I lost to the better man on that day and the game was enjoying to play. A win is always good for morale.

When you bust your backside though, 4 games or more in a row, to try and get through a game with an opponent who is cheating it leaves you feeling drained and tired.

I miss the game as it used to be before the cheaters became the majority.

We can blame EA but it's not actually their fault. In today's world of online gaming there isn't a single multiplayer game that doesn't have some exploit for people to use. The people that program these cheat tools make a lot of money, probably, they couldn't care less what damage they cause. Unethical coders, I used to think, were the problem, i.e. they were the ones who program the tools that are used when an exploit is found, but, the sheer amount of people willing to cheat is now becoming the new norm.

Cheaters in FIFA don't want to lose or draw. They want the top spot because it makes them feel better to fake win their way to being number 1. They are psychologically tricking themselves.

I'm rambling. I feel tired. Just played Seasons and 8 games in 5 of them were lag cheats and the other 3 were voided when it looked possible for the game to end as a draw or a loss.

I don't want to play this game any more today. I've had enough.
