What is the criteria for the cover player?

As the title says... what is the criteria when you choose to put Mbappe on the cover? (Or whatever player)

Think they also do local cover stars for different regions. Wayne Rooney has been on the most. Barca has been on it a lot with Messi and Ronaldinho too. A lot of icons in the game now have been cover stars in the past.

You can look up all the names on the wiki. Do you mean German born or the cover star in Germany? As they are not always the same.

That's exactly what happens. EA pays an endorsement fee to the player.

But this guy is clearly so full of hatred for EA that he's going to spin it all ways. He's already making out that putting an image that will sell a product on the cover of said product is just absolutely heinous.

Not like advertising to increase sales of a product has been happening since the 1800s or anything.
