Advantage system 21

I’ve just seen some leaked screens from fifa 21 and it appears the advantage system has been tweaked. Judging by the photos I think the referee plays advantage but if you wanna take the free kick you click L2 + R2. I think I’m understanding that right. This is a massive plus as there is a lack of fouls and free kicks in fifa so this will help that.

Advantage needs to be scraped. After you get advantage and miss your shot or pass or even get tackle, you still get the freekick mind you that is like 2 minutes passed in game.
Great that you can click a button if you want the freekick instead but if you play advantage and lose the ball the freekick should not be given

I'm trying to remember if there was a single instance of "good thing that was advantage" in ~3000 matches for me, but I can't think of one.

In FIFA 20 also works, just stand still as soon as you can see the advantage icon.
But in FIFA 21 the referee's AI has been completely revamped, making it very reactive and realistic, even by manually activating the request to not take the advantage.

100%, it's a great change. I've tried (and often failed) to lose the ball on purpose after an advantage was given to get a free kick.

Yeah I’m same I’ve tried kicking it out of play but never works
