How can you get to 89 knowing there’s a better upgrade and not to do it?
89 has a rocket of a shot and good dribbling, he does get pushed easily off the ball but only by few CBs that are on the game.
4wins+assist away now.. I had the BEST connection for 3-4 games and I made sure to get those objectives done. He scored a hat trick on one and 1G+2A on another game.. 1G+A is kinda given now
I finished mine at the same time bruno came out. The grind was real, but i enjoyed the game playing with different players. Good luck with BrunO you all. And for those who complaints about the objectives and general take my fat middel finger in your face. You will always complain about everything in FIFA. Stop complaining and start playing the game....
93 MENDY IS IN THE HOUSE!!! I feel bad putting his other 3 cards into a sbc but I’m sure I will..
One game I was up 3-0 on non/rare gold team.. I messaged the guy if he needed help, I needed the win and he knew, guy was trying to cross so I let him score.. 3-1, ref gives him a no touch pk.. 3-2.. then he subs in his tots Mbappe, neymar and WBY ties the game.. then holds the ball in the corner..
Luckily, last 2 games the guys was heading down so he let me get assist and win.
Got the 93 as well. Got tons of people helping on the way. Got my last 5 games in a row with the assist and the win, already had the goals (found it easier to score than to assist). Been playing 89 as one of my two ST in a 41212(2) formation.
Found his passing so-so, hence making it difficult, but did it and glad I did. Sold my PIM Carlos, not sure Mendy will be better but he's free (and he may be better).
Hope there is a genuine difference between 89 and 93 because 89 did not amaze me to be honest.
This is the one time since game came out where I found the community actually nice and helping. Tried to help as much as possible as well, obviously. Was fun. But glad it's over

It’s timed, they can’t release these cards way back in oct/ nov.. or even March before tots
It’s not the player. It’s the objective concept. This is how it should be all year. You get something for playing and can upgrade for the challenge. Playing x amount of games isn’t an issue. It’s the constant wins, with extra requirements and time limits that make it sweaty. They can do this all year but make the card rating relevant to the stage of the game we are in.
This is a step in the right direction imo and it’s obvious they have used this year as an experiment. They have tried many different concepts. The requirements are constantly changing and finally it seems like they’ve done good. I hope this continues into next year. Really enjoyed juts playing for once knowing even with a loss I’m going to get something for playing the game.
They gave us a season to do this and we sit here after less than a week with a 93 Mendy in our squad. That’s crazy. It’s us that play too much. The amount of games asked to play over a season seems very acceptable to me.

Totally agree, make the card for that stage of the game and the rewards are trash regardless so grinding Rivals with a decent reward is worth it..
considering they have been putting so many events on the game so might as well make rivals worth it.

I scored some insane goals with the 89.. I tried the 89 as LB and he was insane!!! Can’t imagine how good the 93 is now
How do you do the 87 crossing objective? His 87 is so bad, when using him as a LB and telling him to run up the pitch, he just stands in defends, when using him as my LCM/RCM he feels like low/low WR. When using him as a striker his dribbling never let him get close enough to do a cross and the few times he has crossed the ball tots CR7 keeps missing his headers

No. It’s just a bonus pack for people doing the objective in D4+. It’s pointless really because everyone know packs are trash
