What's matchmaking like for you this weekend lads?
I've been messaging my opponents, after every win my next opponent is an elite player. Lost the last game in penalties against an elite player with ridiculous reds. What's is going on with the matchmaking, is this intentional @EA?

I get sweats regardless the time of day.
Usually only play 1 elite player in my first 10 but 5 in the first 9 is very fishy.
Tried that yesterday, doesn't make a difference mate. I was still only getting the one game against a similar/lower ranked player. After every win it's an elite player.
This pink badge keeps popping up, never seen it before...
It had been the EPL TOTS the weekend before and there were some really stacked teams yet I still managed G3. I'm a div6 player who can't skill so how does that work ?!
I'm a Division 3 player mate, think I can get higher than that Division too, was Division 1 in every other fifa. I usually end up getting relegated due to difficult objectives. I'll be doing well to get Gold 3 this weekend with this atrocious matchmaking.

Gameplay is atrocious today mate, it's slow and sluggish.
Get 1 win think great something to build on, then get a tough opponent and usually losing by 1 goal.
EA like to treat you with a slightly worse opponent, get your confidence up, then slap you back down again with someone slightly better than you.
That wannabe pro David Nobrega who has had 7 top 100’s and always finishes Elite 1 or above has finished GOLD 1 this week!

I think i've been matched with at least 10 Dutch players so far. It's ridiculous. Some of them with God squads, most of them average squads but if makes no difference, they are playing a completely different game to me. Their players move soo swiftly, all of them, both offensively and defensively. My players stand still. There is delay in everything i do. If you aren't an elite player, It's pointless.
Have had that pause at the start of the match numerous times without a substitution. Defo doing something to their connections.
Just curious, what do you think they're doing? Downloading multiple files so the connection slows down?
There's definitely some kind of exploit. I was 2-0 up dominating a guy yesterday. He paused, didn't sub and when it came back the delay was horrendous. Still won 3-2 but I was fuming.
Every time the game feels this way for me, it's either Dutch or German opponents. Win or lose, its always horrific to play.
So I finished 14-9. Now time to retire from WL
I’ve been getting that pink badge for a few months. Only pops up every once in awhile.
Matchmaking has been alright for me so far. Played a fair number of crazy good players with high rated reds all over the place, as well as the normal level guys. It is nice to play during the day though. I feel like my games have been fairly smooth compared to when I usually play late at night or early in the morning. It’s 110 degrees here, so not missing much with being outside! 😂🤣
Dutch and Germans are horrific to play against connection wise. French awful to play against due to the way they play. Wonder why it's so hard to match with someone in the UK for once?
