If you ran a business and your product was trash, full of flaws, you had zero care for your customers but you were absolutely raking in the profit regardless and making billions of dollars.....why would you change what you were doing?
I appreciate most of us answering this question have morals and would care about our customers but you have to remember that EA as a business and their top dogs don’t and their SOLE aim is to make money!
So why would they change what they are doing when they are raking the cash in?
Voted worst company....don’t care cause we are making serious bank! Money money money.

I personally think (said it for 19 as well).. EA should ask 5 pros and 5 casual players to help them improve the game.. pros from top 100.. and casual has to know what they are talking about, not a random 14yr old kid that wants more drag back.. or better yet, do a survey with questionnaire
Allow me to me bring a real life spin on this.
I work at head office of a FTSE 100 UK company, who has seen growth virtually every quarter in recent years. In our meetings where we plan ahead for the next year, the question is always "how can we make more money?". And we look at every single thing in the most minute detail; when you're at the top of you're industry, you have to do this.
No matter if we have had the most successful quarter on record, we still have conversations on what we could have done better, and where we missed potential sales.
I can guarantee EA will be doing the same, as they are (sadly) the industry leader in their field.
Because money.
Competition is the only thing that keeps a business alert, committed to its customers, and honest in its approach.
Once a monopoly is created, invariably, the quality of a service or product is reduced.
When they don't have to try very hard to make obscene profits they won't try very hard to change things...shock horror.
Either PES needs a complete revamp or, ideally, a third football game needs to emerge and offer something new.
Then, and probably only then, will we see any tangible change.
Yep.
Anyone who plays this mode has some sort of competitive streak in them. Its human nature to want to fix things. So for us, as players, when your team is broken, you want to fix it, rebuild. The mechanics of the game target this and its working like a dream.
You are right.
Anyone one of us would want to provide the best product we can.
Firstly, because it gives customers what they want and it makes more money in the long run.
It seems logical.
Yet, E.A are so arrogant they assume nobody will ever stop and play something else, or they'll never have another competitor in the marketplace.
Until, or if, we see players refuse to buy it or a competitor forces them to adapt, nothing will change.
Because they don't make money BECAUSE of these flaws they do but DESPITE these flaws they do. And someday this will backfire on them (when they start losing licenses etc.)
They take advantage of how important football is to the whole world to settle with mediocre gameplay and bad decisions.
On the other hand they could improve their product, build costumer loyalty, improve reviews and reputation and make even more money.
