I went maldini simply for the increased speed. I feel puyol would be too slow for me, and i run a spanish/esp1 team.

Have both. Puyol is a beast defender but pace is an issue. Go maldini.

I have mid Puyol, and he was surprisingly very solid, excellent defending and passing.

Puyol looks like an absolute rock but the pace could be an issue against all the TOTS cards. Maldini's physicals look average but with an anchor he should be sweet
