What's happening with high pressure?
Every single game I have had players all over me, pushing and pulling me and in some instances probably even assaulting me. Its brutal. It's like I'm playing against 11 robots. Yet despite them playing like this the whole game it appears to have little effect on stamina.

It is absolutely terrible. Those that play drop back and 1 depth have now been given another thing to abuse because they cant play the game properly.
actually not everyone - only those who has connection advantage (ie, live close to the servers) are abusing it. Enabling high pressure, team press, and abusing commands will force the server to drop the opponent's input, if the opponents live further from the server.
If you are the one having connection disadvantage, I would suggest you not enabling high pressure, as it gonna ruin your own game.
This. If lag compensation is not on your side...it wont work
Perhaps they want to get rid of players who are wiser with the money than foolish younger players ie its built in the system those who buy fp dont get banned anymore and have better mechanics at winning games aka surprise mechanics
Glad I only play a few games now and then back to Metro Exodus & Star Citizen for me then.

Since i only play WL and never rivals i was surprised to by constant pressure. Even though i seen the patch notes. But after seeing this it doesn't bother me to much. Just weather the storm in the beginning and look on the radar where the holes are behind the pressure. Alot of times going to your fullback then passing it back in the middle and then a through pass high or low to you wingers will change his mind sometimes. There are people just like with dropback that could be loosing 2 or 3-0 and still will hold on to their defensive tactics.
Do people actually enjoy playing like that? I’d get suffocated

I've tried it and I won one game 7-6 and lost another 6-5. It is brutal and after each game I've felt like i need to go and lie down in a cold dark room because the games are so intense.
