Unable to win objective games

So I've started playing FIFA again recently, and am trying to get the prime icon pack from swaps. But 2/3 games I play are against sweaters with their full icon/expensive SBC teams (i.e 190's when I'm using a 184 objective team with a couple of under 82's) or other objective teams which for the most part are on par with my team. Although when I play against objective teams, I can only win about 1 out of 4 games even though I outplay the opponent in most of the games I play.

It's complete bs that I play ridiculous p2w teams most of the time and when I don't, I can't win because the game isn't in my favour. Who is getting all the lucky wins if I'm losing when I shouldn't be?

Team quality does not say much, if anything about player quality. If you're better then your opponent, you should be able to beat expensive teams.

Pure nonsense, it’s usually down to who had less input delay, and if he’s facing Top squads too he’s got no chance. Keep on trying but don’t take the losses seriously it’s vary rarely down to player skill this year

I am on the same page - I am trying to grind the last 3 icon swaps and can’t buy a win ... I had 1250+ points in D4 rivals ... I am now in division 7 with 850 points ... pure BS

I mean, if the objectives are easy, why don't EA just give you an icon pack for free...?

There are only two ways to get good players in FUT:

    1. Spend money, real money.
    2. Spend time, either play a lot of matches (to finish objectives or to gain higher rank) or trade a lot.

For me, I choose option 2 and choose trading instead of playing a lot (I do play weekend league, but that is, nothing more). I just simply feel trading is more stress free and also more entertaining compared to playing division rivals considering how bad the division rivals environment is nowadays...

If you are not bad at trading and spend ~ 1 hour total each day, 3-4 weeks of profit can afford most of the prime icons except for those super expensive ones.

your contradicting yourself. 'if he is facing god squads he has no chance' and 'it's down to less input delay' ?
    Which one is it?

OP: it is really hard to win against those teams if you are playing an 84 squad. Can you sub in a couple of your best players yourself? I do still believe thatif you're better then the opponent, you have a good chance to win

I do sub on Rooney, Allan etc to balance the team out but due to my pack lack I still play with a discard defense (Diallo, Kehrer and Aguillar) with the exception of Alphonso Davies. The game is fu***d. I play casual games with my main team and come up against rubbish objective teams but when I NEED the wins when I'm using my objective teams I come up against insane teams. Probably so we all have to play more lol
