Online icon swaps - so, you have to buy packs?

There's no other way you can complete the online ones? You have to miraculously have kept at least 45 players from old packs split equally across the top 5 leauges?

How many players do you have? I have over 1200 for example as first owner was important from the beginning.

Yer........ You are in for a frustrating few weeks I'm afraid, best bet is to play squad battles and get as high as you can for the packs and hope for good players, try to stay in division 9 or 10 as you will struggle with the challenges at any higher simply because you don't have the players to complete.

Yeah its a pain and for that reason I have been keeping packed cards all year long. Take untradeable packs from Rivals as you get double the packs so more chance of decent players. Another option is using the bronze pack method to do league sbc's which will give you a decent player from those leagues as well as packs through out. You can either try to do all leagues at once or just concentrate on one or two and sell all the other sbc players.

Its a great money earner as well. With all the non sbc players run them through bronze silver and gold upgrades to help you get more players for the sbcs as well as the chance for good players from the gold upgrade

All the best. Best if you keep playing Rivals and Squad Battles with a normal team and wait for this weeks rewards. May pack something good and also do season Objectives to unlock some players/packs along the way

No you dont have to spend a penny for both icon swaps 1 and 2 I have managed to collect all the tokens I needed by taking un tradables as rivals rewards the week before the new icon swaps starts, done the same for icon swaps 3 and I already got 4 online objectives completed today ... wouldn't even say I prepared just didnt put my un tradable fodder from thurdays rewards and on into any SBCs ... don't like to say it but it's all easy peasy right now I'm getting 3-4 wins every 15-30min on average.

Take untrade pack from rival. I would try to get single one done first as you can buy players. You should get reward on monday. Keep players.
Play more rival and take untrade pack Rewardand go from there.
Use all none rare gold that dont fit in team and put in upgrade and build from there.
Its a grind no need to rush.

Take advice on here. Try and have 2 of your best players in every squad if chem allows and make 3 subs at the start, that way you only actually have to use 6 first owns players. Taking untradable should give you a Keepr for each league and decent enough cbs like gomez, heremoso, voigt,

Between the rivals, squad battle, season milestone and objective rewards you should be able to build a decent team for each league over the next couple of weeks. It’s doable if you stick to the plan!

So you're complaining about the first owner cards? Every season there were the same tasks with first owner cards and for everything in the game you got free untradeable packs. I think everyone got solid first owner squads for the big leagues.

Should have read every post. My fault. If you started just a few days ago it's really hard to get a solid first owner squad.

I actually thought we might need 11FO players this time as I think it was 9 for icon swaps 2. I a can see how difficult it would be if you had only been playing for 40 days. I have been playing from the start so have pretty decent FO teams but still have some weak areas - CBs for Ligue 1, CMs for serie A and strikers for La Liga
