Thanks to King Kurt, for the first time ever, PES had more Twitch views than FIFA!!

The chickens are coming home to roost EA Sports ;-)

It isn't sustainable, as he doesn't really enjoy PES and will quickly tire of it.

Except him to play non-football related games, or if he doesn't then he may well switch to more unique football games like those on mobile, or management sims etc...anything to keep it football related.

Out in the real world 99% of the playerbase is oblivious.

    It changes nothing.

He never said he didn't enjoy PES, Just said it was slow and he'd have to get used to it.

Run the fut market has been streaming PES also. I’m a big fan of his. And honestly, he seems to genuinely be having more fun that I’ve seen him have on stream in years.

RunTheFUTMarket’s “reaction” to his goals in PES is so fake and cringe.

Would like to see the same amount of players that fifa has on pes servers and if it will handle the load.

PES gameplay feels more rewarding IMO. Much more manual gameplay and less hand holding than Fifa. I'm enjoying it so far.

PES looks appalling. The design team made it look all blocky and soft. There's no crispness to any of the colours either, it's all bland.

I work for EA by the way.

Decided to give pes a try. Gameplay is...different. Everything feels slower, maybe its something that I need to get used to.

The menus and UI are just horrible though.

PES has better and more realistic gameplay in line with football. Their menus are hot garbage tho

I like PES gameplay but 2020 isn't as good as 2019 was

No, he has routinely mocked the game as being "even worse than Fifa".

    Go and do your research.

Pes is too dated, the gameplay mechanics, UI are prehistoric. Pes could challenge Fifa in the future, but they need to stop spending the majority of their allocated budget on licences. Put the money into modernizing the game Pes productions!

Viewership will drop off and Kurt will fade away. People are just there hoping to catch some controversy and drama.

Imo, but ofc I could be wrong.

Imagine if EA tweaked pack weights significantly so we got high rated players much more frequently (like PES).

Can you just imagine the amount of "OMG I packed this" and "Fifa is awesome right now" threads and YT vids that'd be posted praising the game. Seems a fairly simple short term answer to combat some of the negativity.

Will EA do that though? Nah.

Actually thinking back, it's what they must have done around TOTS stage in Fifa 18 as packing those were easy.

PES is actually a very very good game of footy, just let down by slow matchmaking and awful menus. As this will more than likely be my last Fifa I'm excited to see what they come up with for PES 2021 and Kurt and the others can only help improve the game if Konami listen enough!

No people would just complain that the value of their team has dropped because EA made packs better.

World Cup mode was a prime example of this, within a week you could have a full icon team, people complained that it was too easy to get the best team.

The sad fact is, most of the community are so indoctrinated into believing that it's acceptable the way it is, that if EA started giving us a better chance to pack things, they would view it as a bad thing.

Honestly I think the pack weights are too extreme in both Fifa and PES.

PES you can get an insane squad quite quickly. I've been logging in every day just to get daily rewards for the last month or so (haven't actually played a game yet) and I've got 97 Messi, 92 Salah, 92 Mane and a host of others.

I've played fifa the whole cycle (pretty much every day played a few games) and packed 1 promo card the whole year (OTW in Oct) and the highest value player being firminho who sold for 80k back in Nov time. While PES is too easy this is stupid pack weights.

I'd want to see Fifa increase the pack weights (at least for untradeable cards)

Don’t you think they are actually indoctrinated into wanting it to be difficult to pack stuff so if they happen to they have a competitive advantage. Loads dont want to play vs god squads but most everyone want a god squad themselves. That is what killed better pack weights in wc mode. That and lower dopamine hits i guess.

Being able to do SBCs fir PIM icons was pretty good last year.
No chance for most people to get one now.
They should bring it back for Fifa 21

It was only the scrub pay to winners that complained. I loved that mode, went on a 238 win streak with the best team in the game. The playing field was levelled, it was glorious! I also don't think you would've had as many complaints if the gameplay was good. Gameplay is king when you don't have that dopamine carrot on a string.

People are indoctrinated, there was a thread about PES yesterday giving away Maradona. So many people in their going "no thanks, it would ruin the game" it's laughable really.

Agreed. It shows how powerful the psychology EA employs in the game are. Those that understand these methods would mostly support greater regulation i would hope. Customers just being farmed really.

I have done marque match ups virtually every week.

The Bundesliga sbc, WL and SB rewards weekly..

    Plus a few100k packs...

I have only packed 1 promo player this year that Argentina Ajax CDM guy I sold for 80k.

This is way too low. With that amount of packs I should have packed more than that. I'm not saying toty cr7 but seriously more than 1 single promo.

I just downloaded the free version of PES for that free Maradona, have a frontline consisting of an 87 Vinicius, 90 Maradona, 91 Gnabry after five minutes. :D

I could be wrong here but isn't the point of PES myclub to take a team and then build up the players over time? Sure it's also far more expensive to maintain a team with Messi and the likes as well.
