I mean yeah it’s very unlucky, but why take a base icon from swaps if your going to do a base icon SBC shortly after? Surely do it the other way round....

Never had plans to do a sbc, until my brothers just done 3 got cannavaro,ronaldinho & zambrotta in them. So took the swap at weekend cos cba grinding it out as the game is sh*t. Then he did those 3 sbcs this afternoon so i thought why not

Well, my oldest son did it twice.
First one he got Butragueno
Second on he got Gullit

I did it once and got Ballack. I won't do another one, that's for sure

Because worst case scenario was 72/1 or something like that. They're some long odds.

Did my first one today. Had all players in club as -i keep 95% of the players I pack and got like 3200 players in my club.

For some reason I always thought it would be useless as I got a stacked team but this morning I felt like using some of the players in my club since Futmas was useless and I dont see where else they could serve a purpose.

Did it and got base Veron. Decent-ish I guess as a CM sub although I m not too sure he's better than say RTTF Allan who is on my bench already. Still, not the worst. Not amazing either.

Happened to me too. I grinded base icon pack (first edition) from 81-87 and 82+ upgrades, spent several hours for that, about 300 k and some untradeables and packed...

I'm tempted to do one but I know I'll get base zanetti to go with the prime I picked last month.

Better off saving the coins to just buy who you want. Especially the way the market is. Even some of the toty will be fairly cheap and cause other icon prices to fall.

I'm debating to sell my icons now and rebuy next week after mug openings .

I got Petit LB. Was wounded but he is really good, don’t think I ever would have decided to buy him if I didn’t pack him in base icon sbc. If I was you I would only do this SBC with untradeables and not coins. The odds of getting something that costs less, than it does to complete the SBC is very high. Problem with it is, if you get a GK, particularly Lehmann then you have wasted your coins or untradeables. I did mine mostly with untradeables so thankfully paid like 60k for Petit. I was massively worried it would be Lehmann, or Owen, Wright and Lineker who have worse stats than POTM Vardy and therefore wouldnt make my team. My advice is to avoid it, I think (not certain) that there are maybe less than 10 icons out of 96 that will cost more than this SBC, so just buy the one you want. Only worth it with untradeables.
