Hierro is 6, so you can technically get him today because there's 6 tokens out for objectives right now, but I don't think you'll grind out everything in 1 day unless you no life it.
They are not great but could be worse. For me Blanc and VDS seem to be the most "end game" pair. You can use them basically till the end and will be fine. They will help in chemistry massively.
Essien is tempting and there is a little hype about him but in few weeks he may turn out to be another Makelele (who is good but not final product).
By the time you can get them Toty is out... also, objectives are complete bolocks and the sheer fact that you have to use 9 first owner players does the greed from EA!

What did you guys really expect after this whole year of crap? Did you really think they were gonna give out a Pele, Zidane or Maldini for free? Its gonna take a lot of playing but there are some quality cards out there.
Mid vieira would have at least been usable. The baby does not have enough stamina for 90 mins plus.

My bad, I think they must have increased the stamina from last year...I remember it being low 80’s...still not worth the grind though. Mid vieira would have been perfectly acceptable!
Some of the more desirable cards should have at least been mids. Make it Mid Dinho Mid Viera and mid Eusebio or Cruyff for 23 tokens to make it a difficult choice.
11 and Zambrotta fir me. This batch is lame though.

For the second batch, agree, we should've got the mid version of Vieira etc. We should get some end-game meta icons in the final batch, mid Gullit, base Eusebio etc.

Just use 3 really good meta players from the bench and play against the crappy squads with low chemistry. Easy wins.
I packed 85 Blanc from the base icon SBC yesterday and played 15ish games with him.
What a CDM! His agility, height, positioning make him really special. I have read people saying he is similar to Sissoko, I am sure they have never used Blanc. He is not running everywhere, like IRL, looks calm/confident on the pitch and catches everything with his long legs.
Very good option for Swap 2, maybe the best if you want 2 icons.
As he was my initial target, I would have been happy to read positive comments to help me make a decision, so I share it with you.

As if they would give mid vieira, eusebio or Cruyff... I was hoping for baby Alberto or Matthaus and even that was ambitious it seems. Prime essien looks the one to me but it really depends on the next objectives if it's worth the grind. It's the only end game one in there imo.

The Blanc CAM with a defender chem should do very well at CB, right?
