It seriously costs me goal after goal. I’m jockeying and not pressing any buttons so my defender decides to let him go through by stretching out his arms. It’s nonsense. Luckily I managed to win on pens despite this and being 3-0 in the first half:

I totally agree man. This happens to me every game when i know my defender can run back to catch him but this animation stops him from everything

Yep, had this happen on quite a few occasions, so frustrating as you are literally right there with them, then this happens and it lets them get 2-3 yards of space out of nowhere which is enough to go through and score
