Why are playing running around the ball before they kick it! Takes an eternity

I’m noticing before players pass the call, they are running around it before passing, taking so much longer and evidently getting tackled and losing it every time. Anyone else noticing this?

Worst Fifa by far, was supposed to be best Fifa yet! 2 and bit months in and its still totally broken, can't pass with headers or score header goals been a disaster since Launch. Won't be buying Fifa 21.
