So you release a patch that supposedly improved shooting?..

Shooting is no different.. Shooting is no better, sometimes it flys in other times you hit the post or the keeper pulls off stupid saves.

Dribbling is even worse, FIFA20 was trash before this patch but after it's arguably even worse.

If anybody thinks this game is acceptable then you need your head examined.

The last good FIFA games which had a skillgap were 15 & 16.

E.A are beyond a joke now too incompetent to make a decent Football game.

I'm surprised if even the noobs who play this game enjoy it.. when there's so much RNG involved, I played a Head2Head game earlier.. I was through on goal with M'bappe.. 3 yards ahead of Pique & he somehow caught up to me hahahah :D E.A LOGIC.

We're done for.

Close this shi* down.

I agree I made a thread about manual shooting is a joke. Impossible to score but when I changed it to semi to test it out scored first shot....

Glad I did not buy and continue to refuse to buy as long as EA keeps a broken game and ignores the user experience in all modes of the game.

Every patch seem to correct something and aggravate another area for some players. I know it’s impossible to please everyone with a game so I’m scratching my head as to why EA has not think of this before :

Why isn’t EA putting 2 different set of gameplay into the game? I mean when the play Is too fast, it frustrate players who want the game to be as authentic as possible as the real game. When it’s too slow or feel more realistic, the other gang complains that the game is slow as f*** and unplayable. So, you create the “ARCADE” setting where the gameplay, passing and shooting reflects more of an arcade style of play and you create the “REAL LIFE” mode where the pace, passing and shooting feel more like real life. That way, the players that are into the allegiance of either ARCADE or REAL LIFE can discuss or bring points about their gameplay that could be tweak in patches by EA. Those modes would have no impact on the manual sliders that Every players could adjust if they want more challenges within the mode they are in.

I mean, if there is 5 different levels of competition in the game, I think it would be time with all the complaining to create more than 1 gameplay within the game.

    Your thoughts?

Years ago back in the days of FIFA15 & FIFA 16 those games can be deemed as "not realistic" they were very fast, and "arcady" but they had a big skill-gap.. shooting was consistent, you could turn/dribble fast and take players on & slow players didn't catch up to fast players like they do now.. which is not realistic at all.

The main issue is the fundamentals of FIFA20 are broken, shooting inside the box is inconsistent, you can't dribble & take players on as players turn like trucks, a slow defender will gain on an M'bappe when he's through on goal which shouldn't happen, it doesn't happen as much as 19 but it's still RNG & it's there to give the noobs a chance. (make games closer)

I know not every FIFA is going to to please everyone.. some want the gameplay fast, some want the gameplay slow... but C'mon FIFA20 gameplay is so slow my nan could play it.. the game is far too slow.

The main issues are E.A can't get the simple core game mechanics right like shooting, dribbling etc.

FIFA19 & FIFA20 are the 2 worst FIFA titles ever.

The problem is consistency there is absolutely none in the game, whether its shooting, passing or crossing, dribbling etc one game it's great next game can't do ❤️❤️❤️❤️ all and everything you try fails. The attacking intelligence of the players dont exist, especially when playing against 10-11 behind the ball. Soon as you get to the edge of there area no movement platers become static, then the game rng decides you made a bad pass gives it away then opposite team breaks on you and scores. Too much rubbish BS in the game.

It's too hard for them to get 1 thing right let alone 2 different sets of gameplay

Why do you keep talking about consistency?

I agree servers shouldn’t impact gameplay as much as they do, BUT shooting is better one than it was previously.

We had consistency with the timed finishing last year and look where that got us. People, do nothing but repeat the SAME shot type. All for FUT rewards.

No creativity, no thought, just rinse and repeat until it became atrocious.

I despise EA and what they have done to this game, but you need to think twice about what you’re asking for.

The problem is that each patch impacts players differently. The game across platforms and players, even across the same console is different.

That is why the game is inconsistent. You could play on someone else’s console and their build and have a completely different experience.
