I've switched to auto switching

After years of manually switching and now suddenly my players are AI defending for me, I sit here and laugh at the ridiculousness of it, my players are actually doing slide tackles, intercepting everything without my input.

Auto switching should be turned off in online game modes.

How would auto switching being on make your AI do it for you, wouldn't that make you control the closest player to the ball and then if you don't do anything, you'd be stood still?

don't ask me how the mechanics of the game work, but by going to auto switching my players suddenly make tackles for me and block things and intercept.

I mean everything else is automatic in this game so why not. At this point anyone can put their controller down, and watch a ai vs ai.
