Anyone else at a complete loss with who to take in Icon Swaps?

I've been pretty set on Zanetti for a couple of weeks but now I don't have a clue. Been looking at Hagi and his stats are great but not sure how his work rates would translate in-game.

I had Rivaldo last year who was excellent but not sure on the base version.

Has anyone tried Rio in this Fifa or last? Would he be worth getting?

I'm definitely at a complete loss as well. Also because I'm still not entirely set on the formation which works best for me. At certain points I was convinced to go for Hagi, but actually KDB is great for me. Owen also looks great but then again Aguero is doing great for me as well. Spending them on a defensive icon seems a bit of a waste, or at least seems less interesting for me. Now that the second set of tokens is upon us it's really time to make a decision, but I'm clueless still

Yeah that's my thinking with Zanetti. Seems boring to get a full back. Hagi is the front runner for me now but then I think about getting Carlos and Nesta as a duo.

Spoilt for choice! I might wait for some Zanetti reviews to surface

Rio was a super solid CB for me but that was like 2 FIFAs ago. There's definitely a Marshall HD review on Rio on probably reviews on most of the more popular icons. Might look some of em up and see what people think.

i think im just gonna make sure i go for a prime version.

i would hate to go for icons that end up benched.

Zanetti should be great, although if they bring out special RB (flashbacks etc) then i'm gonna be annoyed.

I don’t get excited by defenders either and weakest part of my team is cm’s matuidi and otw ndombele so I’m set on getting Gerrard looking forward to having a quality Cm in my team just wish I could get him and someone else. EA are smart you take R Carlos and someone else or two bang average icons you should be able to buy by Christmas anyway

I've started feeling the same. Since the start of the promo, I have got better players (or just as good) in all the positions I was considering, so I've decided I'm just gonna collect West Ham ones (Rio, Bobby and Lampard) and use any spare tokens to get other players I like, so in this case I'm taking Jay Jay.

i probably should but there are good alternatives to him and it's not his prime... that bugs me cos theres a chance ill want to bench him one day. If there's a special Ferland mendy card or Sandro

I'm thinking Zanetti would be most sensible for my serie a team but as a united fan I'm tempted to go for Keane and if I get all the tokens Giggsy too.

Ive still got no idea myself either. Really tempting to go for that gamble base icon pack tbh just for fun..
Im running a Dutch team so wanted to go for Kluivert at first but he just doesnt look that good. If Malen is allready better it seems..

I have 8 swap 1 players and I’m not gonna make it to the 9th. Do I have to use my swap 1 players now or can I use them later ?

I was set on Zanetti, but just played against Carlos and he was unreal. And he's a lot cheaper.

no keep em, mix with the next batch that will hopefully come out today....
