Interesting choice of manager. Why Defoe? Has he spoken about wanting to become a manager?
Yes he has and has mentioned working on his badges in recent years. I picked him just because I have always liked him and with the new trend of retiring players going straight to management I thought he worked.
I looked into other players like Schweinsteiger but decided on Defoe.

I hope you're right about Boadu. He's young and signed for 5 seasons, I would love for him to develop into a star for me. I'll also be following him in real life, it seems he is off to a good start this season.

Thanks, I was not aware of the retirement into manager feature until I saw someone on here do it last season (you maybe?) But you're right, promotion is the goal in season one.

Honestly I have no future plans at the moment. Just trying to get a team promoted then possibly see what offers I receive and decide then what to do.
