I unhardwired my PS4. It lowered my internet speed to my PS4 by around 300%. Game has been playing much better. I always play fifa on WiFi. Forgot I had it hardwired for rocket league.

when i pass to any player i just lose the ball cause it takes like 2-3 sec till i actually able to do anything with him.
takes forever to pass/shoot.
cant even dribble or do anything.
its by far worse than it has been in last years...
then i play 1 friendly game for season objective and it feels like a completely different game.

Switched to wifi and the gameplay on fut champs was better for me. Was only 3 games, but its the first time ever that i had 3 games on dedicated servers without delay. Im sure tomorrow will be different though

If your connection is too good they try to even it down to the other players. You generally get better gameplay being the worse connection and having other people slowed down.
Yep. Very laggy.. clearly the servers dont have the capacity for this many players. EA should upgrade their hardware.. they earned couple of tens of millions with this release but still treating it's customers like crap. They never learn.

You’re always going to have delay. No matter what you do. But the worse you can make your connection, the less delay you will have.

It that not just evidence EA changed the settings to help people with terrible connections. It some sort of lag compensation. It would explain the server delay? Someone with a fibre connection would feel the game delayed?

yeah mine is about the same as yours hardwired.. wireless is 22/14 latency 27ms packet loss 0%

Im sure they have done something, because when i have used wifi before i still got terrible delay. Will try again over the weekend to see if this was a one off or if indeed using wifi now improves my gameplay
I would happily play all year with a 20k team as long as I had a perfect connection. It's basically a water of time playing the game at the moment, never seen so many complaints about the delay before.
I had to switch it off yesterday or I would of throw my Xbox out the window!

I’ve played ea access then bought the championship version (digital ) so I had 3 days before it was released and they gameplay wasn’t this bad..!
