I’d appeal. More worried about the league games than the League Cup.

Yeah, it's a tough one. Because it should be overturned, but they could easily stick to the decision just because of where his hands were despite it not appearing to be with malice. His was hardly the worse action of the entire scuffle, but that obviously won't matter with the appeal. Official's missed a couple of other things in that whole ordeal.

I'd probably just eat the suspension and not appeal. We should be alright without him.

End of the day, you should be beating Leeds and Leicester with or without Casemiro so no big deal either way. If you can’t beat them, you have bigger questions.

i'd usually agree but it is the final, would like ETH to get a trophy in his first season

That’s where the Europa League comes in. But like @LAboog4 says, we’ve beaten Leeds and Leicester without Casemiro before.

Results-wise, what a glorious weekend this has been. At the very least, 2nd place could still be up for grabs…

kane or osimhen.. you want someone who adds not detracts.. its a very similar situation to RVN.. when we had him he scored like 150 goals or something but that was our worst spell under SAF with like 1 league title over the four years

its much better to have an overall better player who can contribute to the play and does something other than scoring as its just like having a deadweight

RVN was an excellent striker. gk was the big problem then after Schmeichel left. We had people like Barthez, Taibi, Roy Carroll, Bosnich etc.

    This.

And not that I think there's a chance we get Haaland but for argument's sake, Haaland can definitely add to the play and I definitely don't think it would be a Ronaldo situation. You can go back to his Dortmund days and clearly see that he offers more than just simply goals, his hold up play is great, and is solid at linking up as well, but he's also great at running into space...something he's not really going to get at City where they want to possess and suffocate teams to death so he's got to adjust to that. But it's tough to judge overall when City have just been off in general this season...nevermind it's well known that players typically struggle (LOL) their first season under Pep.

True it took us years to replace kasper. Don’t forget Howard too.. still Fergie sold him either way so he had faith in ronaldo but you don’t want to be a one man team which poachers can make you

    For the striker
i feel ETH would prefer to not go for Halaand type of striker (classic9)

I honestly think I'd argue Haaland would be a great option for ETH. He's not just a poacher, despite how damn good at it he is... he's a complete CF. People need to stop hyper focusing on how City are playing him imo. Watch footage from his Dortmund or Salzburg days...He'd be perfect for ETH because he's a massive target with great hold up play, can link up and create goals, very quick for his size and great at getting in behind defenses, great positional awareness, he can dribble and control the ball well, two footed...all in addition to his poaching abilities and the fact that service doesn't have to be inch perfect with him. Genuinely believe he'd be the perfect CF for ETH and has all the tools to be a complete CF.

But again, don't believe anything will come of the City situation and/or that Haaland would even go to another PL team. Like someone mentioned, I'd imagine RM would come screaming.

I made the original Haaland connection as a joke, but I agree with you. He has plenty of pace. He runs in behind numerous times per game without anyone attempting to play him in at City. Links up, holds up well enough too. Honestly, he would he the perfect striker for us.

Why isn't it on TV, it doesn't even clash with UCL? It's not a 3pm black out I just don't get it.

TV companies didn't pay for it.

It was originally not selected for TV so it isn't in the number of matches they paid for.
