    building fitness
45 mins--- 60 mins --- 90 mins for the players

to the game we seriously need 2 forwards
    elanga doesnt seem ready
Martial still need to be more clinical
Rashy seems better but still get lost

Fred and malacia had good games and eriksen really showed he got it and was right to bring
hopefully the board can bring the players the manager needs otherwise we are out of top 4 doesnt matter how much ETH can make wonders the squad lacks it

Fred carried Mctominay today despite capping off the performance with a silly red.

And today highlighted why Martial as a long term option at 9 doesn't work, especially as a solo 9. Always looking to get in behind too much, drifting to the wing and not staying central, his hold up play and passing were poor and often ended in a loss of possession. We need to wrap up someone like Sesko imo to cover Ronaldo.

Malacia has surely locked down LB, Dalot at RB unquestionably at this point.

Sancho has locked down LW imo, RW still up for grabs though. Don't think Elanga or Rashford have done enough to solidify the spot.

    Eriksen looked quality.

We really need some more incomings or ETH is going to be so hamstrung this season. We're Europa League quality at best despite being able to play some nice football already.

That said, we had some really good chances and should have scored at least 1

i feel until we get midfielder and attacker arrive and get settled we will see this

    Dalot Maguire Varane Malacia
    Mcfred
    Sancho. Eriksen. Bruno
    Ronaldo

***brighton game untill players ready for match fitness (marrinez mainly)

Will United use their B team (with CR7) today?

All I know is that we need to get Sesko/another ST done and FDJ/another midfielder down. And Ideally a CDM but it's not looking like that's going to happen at this point.

Chong continues to struggle with us. Garnacho has been fantastic

Garnacho is such a fun player to watch.

Some neat one touch triangles all over the pitch is a welcome sight.

    Chong should go. 😑😑

Garnacho and Laird (aside from sleeping on the goal) were the main stand outs.

Eriksen, Garner, and Martinez were quality today.

You can see the quality Eriksen has been over the years with spurs and and Denmark, confident and quality..

I don’t think we can get much out of Chong,

Didn't have much to do, but he was very comfortable snd composed on the ball.

Yeah Martinez looks class. Garnacho shouldn’t start ahead of Rashford just yet but he’s definitely just behind. Kid looks a talent. If we can sort the midfield out we should be pretty good

Totally agree on this. Martinez just looked so cool and composed on the ball. Amazing.

I just watched a compilation of his debut on Twitter, he really does look comically small in the backline. Very hard to believe that his height isn't going to be a big issue in the PL.

I'll have to watch his highlights. I imagine he's a good player, but unsure what position is best for him. We wanted him as an inverted LB who then slots into midfield next to Partey in attack.

It looks like you want him as a CB potentially.

Eredivise is statistically a taller league which uses crosses a lot more often than the premier league.

He did alright there against tall players. Also against players like Dzeko and Haaland in the CL.
