2nd team pretty much all pre season showing lack of depth again. Have to say the Aston Villa handled the conditions and pitch better overall despite that first half dominance we had. Bruno was pretty terrible to be honest. VDB was ok but nothing special. Sancho has looked very good all pre season which is exciting.

Hopefully Sancho can carry this form into the season and contribute a decent amount of goals and assists this year. Something around 15-20 goal contributions in the league would be fantastic compared to the 6 last year
Bruno has looked horrible since Ronaldo arrived at the club, wouldn't even make the bench at a top club.
He may not have been quite as good as when he first joined but I believe last season he still ended up with one of if not the highest number of chances created in the league. If we can play better as a team no reason he won’t have a good season
If Chelsea continue to struggle to sign a forward I fully expect Tuchel's stance to change on Ronaldo situation
Unless Chelsea come with a silly offer, I struggle to see the club agreeing to let him go to Chelsea. Especially considering ETH has remained adamant about wanting to work with him.

That's probably more dependant on Ronaldo's attitude. Should he not particularly kick up a fuss then I agree.
If he's desperate to leave and willing to force a move, as he seems to be, then I don't think it would take as much.

ETH wants him to stay, and I feel since he's went public stating that, the board have to back him... Or he will look weak, it will only have a knock on effect within the squad.
On the other hand, I've always believed that had he left. Or does indeed leave, then the board are to blame all day long.
Exactly why I don't see him leaving. and IF he does, I'd like to think the board would only sell to teams outside the league and not to a direct rival.

De Jong is in stand still, he doesn't want to leave Barca or wants his money before he leaves, Man Utd appear to not be looking at alternatives yet
