Why? If you should boo someone it should be the guy who plays him, not the player himself.
Btw. I know It's weird coming from a Real Madrid fan, but I said the same when a small portion of the fans (at least the people who think they are fans) booed the best goalkeeper of all time imo in Casillas.
Reminder Palace are playing about 3 starters because they couldn't take half their squad on tour, while Ten Hag once again plays his best 11 in an almost unchanged line up to Liverpool game I think, maybe he should experiment with other players a little

I think giving as many reps as possible to the main players to get used to playing the way he wants is a good idea. Puts us in the best position possible to start the season well

I would agree with you if our main 11 was capable of kicking a ball in our game vs Crystal Palace like 2 months ago
Martial looks way more motivated. As soon as we lose possession or there's a loose ball he's going at it hard.
With Ole and Ralf he constantly looked lost and out of place.
its calles bealive
once a manager believe in you give it all .. ETH is kind of managers who are close to them players so you will find his players fight for him
It’s so good hearing Ten Hag yelling out at everyone constantly throughout the match. He really demands the highest level from his players, good to see them react too.

Bit cautious of martial after seeing how good he was for interim Ole and then his downfall after that. Keeping him motivated is the hard part, if ronaldo comes back in then I reckon we lose this martial again
Oh for sure. He's only 26 but the biggest downside to his game is his poor positioning. It's why Cavani and Ronaldo occupied the #9 role better, they lost a lot of the mobility they had in their prime but choosing where they were and when always made them more impactful. And when things don't go his way he becomes anonymous and loses possession.
It's be nice if he gets his head right, but I don't think he'll amount to more than a rotation player based on his history with every manager in the last 7 years though.
I feel like I am stuck in a time loop. These are exactly the same comments we'd see during the early days of Ole and Rangnick.
thats normal as we are only now making the Manager evoloution
we are going up from teacher to manager so everything that is normal for everyone is impressive for us

Agreed. He's looked fantastic this pre season, no denying that, The biggest beneficial change I've noticed from him and he's picking the right moments of when to shoot vs when to pass vs when to take the ball and dribble. That 2nd goal wouldn't have happened this summer imo, he'd have tried to shoot it before.
But I agree in the end those 9 instincts of finding the right pockets of space consistently. He's still very very much looking primarily to get in behind.

You had the godfather that is Ralf before
As interim. His heart wasn’t in it, players continued to get away with their behaviour. Difference is ETH holds everyone to account.
Dalot and Shaw don't come across as good inverted wing backs at all
True actually, not sure if Malacia is any better than Shaw for that position, but if not then it would suggest inverted fullbacks isn't something they're thinking.
If anything it should be Martinez in that inverted role, but all reports seemed to suggest United view him as a CB.
Malacia is better, played for us over there as well.
Comments
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
I mean, it's not like England get loads of support from fans.
Really disagree with this tbh
Nah they made him win them over and he’s done that. Hardly any boos anymore and some big cheers from some defensive plays and his shot.

Yeah, man's starting is in trouble for sure. Looking like Malacia should be starting ahead of him based on what we've seen so far in pre season
the man look to set to shine with ETH
