The main issue is people like him I highly doubt are hardcore career mode players. Changes to him maybe substantial. But too yearly players will seem minimal. Guess it’s a waiting game to see
Since they have the Copa Libertadores on FIFA 20, I just hope that the Brazilian teams are not generic because they have the full license the Brazilian league so I don’t see the logic in that
My bet is:
— cut-scenes, like presentation on stadium, team arrival on bus
— press-conference
— custom managers
— youth system and transfers improvements

I think 3D Press-conference and custom managers. Something EA thinks is enough, but really isnt at all.
Expecting the same old same old as a player career
Start as a mid to high 60/low 70 rated player (depending if you use the previous year boost or not) who gets waaay too many first team minutes at the expense of established, much higher rated players, yet unable to be a sub so you miss entire stretches of games occasionally.
Build your player up through dull repetitive games masquerading as "training" and be picked by national team (but never play because you don't fit in their formation even if you go 90+ rating).
Sign ironclad lifetime contracts in blood where you need to repeatedly demand a transfer to force your way out to transfer teams, be booed by fans when you return to play them because of this.
Win every trophy going every season because....
Get annoyed by the CPU docking you performance points because you're out of position immediately after taking a corner on the opposite side even as you sprint back. Also wonder why, as an attacking player, the CPU manager thinks you should be a defensive force like some kind of prime Canavarro, get docked repeatedly because you're not.
Score and assist on nearly 100% of your teams goals (because no one else on your team is going to do anything for you), setting records along the way, but never be good enough to win player of the year.
Retire after 3 or 4 seasons cause you're bored and unchallenged
It's something I guess. Manager customisation and actually being able to respond to player complaining is good. Finally won't be bothered by the International Management.
The only actual mechanics that influence the game are Dynamic Potential and teams actually choosing their best 11.
Other than that, it's just meh. Who really cares about league specific colours?
How come they haven't changed simulation? Right now you just press simulate and it randomly generates an outcome. What's the point? Why can't we influence the team during the game, make subs and stuff like that?
This mode does literally nothing right. It needs a complete overhaul.
Press conferences are just going to be a gimmick people are going to ignore after a few days. The only things that actually might make the career interesting are teams actually using their best 11 and variable potential.
I like customisation. But it doesn't really change much. What I'd like to see is opponent teams making more transfers. A relegated PL team isn't going to hold on to all their star players and have 80 rated players in the Championship. And nor will a team that's been in the Championship from the start.
Youth Development is uninteresting as it's either they're in your team or in the abyss doing nothing.
It's just a boring mode after a few seasons.
We've got people saying it's a huge change when in terms of the wider picture, it's not. The same teams will win every season and you don't see teams rising. It would be nice to see somebody putting massive investment into a team in League 2 and watching them rise the leagues or watching a Premier League team go through troubles and falling down the league like Blackpool, Wigan and others have. That adds something to career mode.
The ability to be unemployed would be interesting as well. Just watch how the leagues pan out or look for jobs. Not just be handed about 3 jobs in the same league and hope there are openings we can see elsewhere. Show us everything.

I was about right
But i like the fact that the morale actually plays a part in the players attribute, i think that will make it feel less unimportant and trivial.
I also like the dynamic potential.
But im afraid that the outcome of the leagues will still be far from realistic (the top teams are only getting around 65-70 points in a season, IRL the winning team always get around 85+ to win the league (at least in the top 4 leagues).
The same goes for transfers which is also very unrealistic.
Also a lot of the features are only bugs being repared - and the nerve that EA got listing 8 save slots and league licensing as new CM features woow...
All in all, for me, better than expected, but still could be a lot better and far from a perfect mode yet. I just hope EA doesnt feel they dont have to make any change for another 5 years, they need to keep it up.
Dynamic player potential, a better manager customization and press conferences are all great additions to the mode.
It's not good enough, but it's a start. Next year they better do something to Youth Academy, and get back features like "request funds" and other stuff.
What I really miss is a chance to scout your next opponent, and make tactical changes based on that. Also dissapointed the youth system seems to be unchanged. Other than that, I quite like the new things. Looks like there are a lot of options on customizing a manager, but I would still like to be able to use real managers. Big fan of the dynamic potential and the talking to players, though!
EA last year decreases careermode save slots 😂😂 EA this year ✅ Increase to Save Slots + more as new feature 😂😂👌🔥 player potential is a really good changes they made at least 🙂

I just shared a tweet. Followed him during the time before EA Play and was excited his source
What are you personally waiting for?
My bet is:

But thats never going to happen anyway

A lot of people want this, but I don't really see the point.
Isn't Manager Career Mode supposed to be a mode where YOU are the manager.
Not you pretending to be Mourinho managing Accrington Stanley.
When doing a player career you can also choose between using an existing player and creating a new one, right?
