The mode most likely to be a legitimate eSport for you and all you've done is allow teams to play vs the AI and fixed kit clashing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ hell...
Nobody that plays clubs gives a damn about scoring long range shots only, that won't be touched. The mode needs more club incentive, building a 'good club' is worthless.
With the popularity rising in eSports, and leagues such as VPG, VFL, PCN, and countless others why would you not capitalize on the financial gains and put even more into Pro Clubs. As much as I would hate to pay for items, if that's what it takes to get more attention to pro clubs then do it. Some sort of "fifapass" every season much like Fortnite has done releasing new celebrations, hair styles, boots, tattoos, and trait points would bring in so much cash and not to mention keep people playing who otherwise wouldn't. I see much bigger things for pro clubs than just bringing back old positions/kit clashing techniques. For starters having subs come off of the bench would be incredible. They could just view the game as a spectator and when a player is struggling make the change. The practice mode is intriguing but as most competitive pro players will tell you playing 11v11 is entirely different bc of the human aspect. Another thing that would be huge would be adding actual Leagues to clubs. So you can take your Created Club and put them in a Created League so all the stats could be stored in game. Overall you Over-hyped this pitch notes for pro clubs, but it was what I expected. For those of you who can't tell, I only play Pro Clubs.
Only actually new thing and not simply a rehash or cosmetic fixes: Playing against the AI.
I'm 100% certain you are not able to earn any experience points (or however they're called in Pro Clubs) by playing against the AI, thus making the mode... pretty much useless.
please in the name of the lord jesus christ change drop-ins back to the old format, right now as it stand's it is the most pointless game mode in the history of game modes. at least back in the day it used to be fun if you got in with the right people

I was an avid clubs player but was sound of mind enough to stop playing a few years back after years of neglect for the dead mode. I also joined in on the joke and only play FUT now.
Proper Esports on Clubs is a no go. Scope is not there, 11v11 using 1v1 gameplay looks horrendous.
EA could easily add microtransactions to clubs, hell I even sent them a list of how they could if they needed to finance changes after being neglected for years.
Changes I have suggested around 2011/2012 have eventually found their way in to clubs in recent years such as XP/kit and badge creator and vs A.I follows suit of being a half assed effort of another suggestion I made of practice mode.
Reality is I bet Clubs is the least played mode in the whole game and there is more chance it gets scrapped than ever seeing major improvements. If the game ever has to be rebuilt such as for a new engine I think it's very likely.

However saying that the pitch notes need something far more vital included - the part where the captains pick the strip is great, but there NEEDS to be a "captain kick out for the ❤️❤️❤️❤️ who ruin the open games mode" we all know the frustration of finding a decent match only for some 5ft affro wearing ❤️❤️❤️❤️ to go in goal then run all over the pitch scoring in his own net just because he wasnt quick enough to choose the ST position. ive said this for years but being able to boot idiots as a captain in open games would make the world of difference to everyones enjoyment, but it never gets added. ive heard that some people state if the captains can boot ppl then they will ruin the game instead, but it doesnt work like that - unless your one of these ❤️❤️❤️❤️ who enjoy ruining games then by all means kick me from your match, im more than happy then to find a decent match easier than a bad one. there was a similar action in the old battlefield bad company games and it worked well, its not like this change would be hard to add, theres no need to ban ppl just eject from room, its a simple function. come on EA, it really doent matter how realistic and pretty my pro will look if i cant play a decent match without ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
It is funny to think they believe this is enough to make us buy the new game. The new volta mode should never existed, it should have been a part of the pro clubs mode where you had a single player that transferred between a singleplayer career mode like mycareer on 2k, then the standard online 11v11 that pro clubs is atm, and then also the 5v5 volta mode where you could play with mates in a street themed environment similar to mypark on 2k. It is so simple and obvious that is what pro clubs fans want. EA ALL YOU NEED TO DO COPY AND PASTE 2K'S MYPLAYER LAYOUT. IT IS ALREADY THERE FOR YOU!

They didnt change nothing last year now its better than nothing and we can hope they will countinue to add more things in the comings Fifa series.
Volta needs to be online, .maybe like pro clubs so you can team up with your friends. Pro clubs feels much better! No more kicking the ball out for no reason or playing stupid passes back when you didn't ask for the ball, 1 thing I also want is when you choose the stadium it says it's got different weathers but it never rains or snows, or even overcast, you need to add different weathers throughout so it's a twist to the game! And please please leave the Bulls*ite out the game! And make sure the pro clubs stats work straight away and no multicolored referees and spray lines for free kicks in the wrong place.

in pro clubs after a decade there is STILL NO OPTION to sub a player in middle of the game instead of a BOT while the game is running.
You cannot spectate and watch ur team play if ur late except to stare at a lobby imagining whats happening and only see who scored but no display of the game as a spectator. you cant be subbed in nor can you watch the game.
you cant practice with your own team like real teams do in training sessions 5 v 5 warmup games with ur own teammates .
people who want to play goalkeeper can never save a header maybe 1 / 200 headers get saved . anything that hits the post cannot also be saved.
running down the wing the bots will never stop you and its been almost a decade since that didn't work. and im talking about d1 5 star bots
these are just some of the minor fixes ive requested back in 2013 and got permanently banned. Lesson ? : don't provide constructive criticism to an organization because they'll ban you forever.
One thing I would like to see coming back would be the minimum number of players per team.
Now it's 2, should be 3 as it was in the beginning of pro clubs.
There is a mode specific for 2vs2, seasons coop or something like that.
Regarding substitutions in the middle of a match, I understand it would be interesting, but to be honest I don't think it would benefit the game.
Imagine you start the game and teams are 3vs3, you think, ok it's balanced, great, then you go and substitute 3 guys for 3 bots, now you have a 3vs6, not balanced anymore, nor fare...
The only way I see it being fare to the other team is if the other team's captain approves the sub, like a prompt saying that the opposite team would like to sub this, this and this guy, do you approve?
But I don't know it seems to much effort to be honest.
Much more interesting would be the possibility to spectate I think
