Why doesn’t everyone just stop playing then. Don’t buy the next one: don’t buy packs. Don’t come on here complaining instead come on here telling us what else football wise your playing and what team you have? I think it’s a great idea.

In the entire history of gaming that has been complained about as much and as regularly as FIFA 19?
If we're talking triple A games then I can't think of one. Thing is though, the complaint spectrum within FIFA is so broad that I find it unlikely to be matched by other failed games in terms of overall calamity.
The complaints range from all kinds of in-game issues, p2w, gambling, to poor infrastructure, lousy support and dev feedback.
Its trash. The next one will be trash. The one after that will be trash. But EA will continue to make millions out if it. They are thinking if it ain't broke don't fix it....

If it’s so trash, why do people buy it and then invest so much time into it?
If I made a product that consistently made me millions, what would be the point of me changing it?
Well, there is 18,17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,09,08,07,06,05 and prior to that I wouldn't know, but best bet people complained about as much back then aswell

I remember battlefield 4 having A LOT of problems when it released during the Xbox one launch... however, the game was basically fine after a few months.
Of course it's EA game so your basically garaunteed to have problems.
The ABSOLUTE WORST VERSION EVER. It doesn’t matter how well you master playing it. If you’re tied and your opponent gets a chance in the last 10 minutes you WILL LOSE. My buddy came over to try it, hadn’t played since 18. I predicted everything that happened. He said he was never playing it again - said it was pointless. He couldn’t believe how predictable it was.

Also you're right, something people don't seem to click on with is that even though this is arguably the worst FIFA this gen, its still making money because they and many others are dumping hundreds, if not thousands into UT.
People will defend it by saying "its my money, i can do what i want with it" and that's true, but why would EA change a product that's making them money? Its like owning a resteraunt, if a customer came in, said the food was terrible, then sat down and had another 3 course meal, why the hell would I listen to his complaints or even change my food.
Ok maybe that's a pretty bad analogy but my point stands, FIFA 19 was garbage and still made hundreds of millions, odds are 20 will be garbage and will make bank too. The only way the game improves is if people don't buy packs. Easier said than done for some but if people want a better game, they have to resist.
The biggest improvements FIFA made was when PES was top dog and still a competitor, EA improved the game year after year, then UT became a thing, they dominated the licensing they gained a bigger following and now the game gets worse every year now they're on top.

Isn't that what I just said?
My point is it can’t be as bad as everyone says or they wouldn’t buy it and wouldn’t relentlessly play it.
If people are sat moaning about a game that is almost at the end of it’s cycle, and are still playing it...then either they are under duress, or they actually enjoy the game.

There are certainly addictive elements to the game, but I seriously doubt that many on this forum are actually addicted.
Addiction ruins families, livelihoods etc. It can take a person to financial ruin, and they can lose everything.
Whilst I have no doubt that the above may have happened to a minority of gamers, I reckon the vast majority are reasonable and well adjusted people that use the game simply as some form of recreation (or torture as it appears it is to many of you).
If people on here feel that they are truly addicted, and it is effecting their personal life, they should seek professional help.
Not sure people understand how addiction works...
it’s like people saying to meth heads, “you know just stop taking it” and then they stop...
There is 100% an addiction problem with FIFA, it’s designed specifically and cleverly to make you have to play regularly and keep you playing even if you don’t want to.

Don’t defend the indefensible
I said it had addictive elements, but if it’s a problem, as people keep intimating it is (not necessarily you), then they need to seek help.
Everything has addictive elements, food, drink, work etc...but if we keep them in their place then things tend to be ok.

No where near as bad. Fifa 17 was utopia compared to this abomination
