Fifa 19 has been without doubt my worst video game experience of all time. I owe it to myself to wait and gauge opinion before I consider buying the next one.
I basically stopped playing this game around December. In the last week I came back and played some, and all the reasons why I packed it in came flooding back.
All of those reasons need to be gone in Fifa 20 if I'm to buy it.
-Timed finishing needs to go away
-50/50 battles which is basically the AI assisting you with defending and mostly everything 50/50 this rule of "fairness" and less skill needs to go away. They're not good at the game BOOO HOOO LET THEM GET BETTER, DON"T ASSIST THEM WITH YOUR 50/50 BATTLE excuse that makes all the players and all their stats useless because the AI decides when to assist no matter what player you use or your opponent uses
-holding/pressing X on Playstation, A on Xbox as your defenders all have 90 pace and intercept the pass like the flash needs to go away
-All the players have the same pace=acceleration and pace stats are lying=Glik can catch up to Cristiano Ronaldo and take the ball needs to go away
We are getting tired of paying a lot for getting nothing - at least fix Pro Clubs.
The company is rotten to it's core, i wont spend another dime unless things magicly get better.
I haven't played FIFA 18 apart from ProClubs, decided not to buy FIFA 19 (will maybe do just for 'collecting' sake though as I have very single one of them from 10 to 18 plus different ones before, including the mighty FIFA International Soccer*) and I don't feel like buying FIFA 20 either.
*Y U NO bring some of those players back somehow? I remember I spent countless hours with Favaro scoring for fun, Jantz being a wall in front of the defense, and so on... So many memories...
Let me explain what that is.
When AI handicap applies to your team your shots will often miss even if is a scoring position.. there will be a 80% missed passes, player runs will be chaotic on the pitch. All the time you will lose by 1 goal difference. When this happens you have 3 options... buy fifa points, forfeit 30-40 matches until the handicap clears or endure 30 loses. I'm a casual player in div5... when the AI applies I'm dropping from 1200 rating to 800 rating without scoring a goal despite having 15-20 shots on goal... or hitting the bar 5+ times in a match. This is a game designed only for profit. My message for EA? Stick it to NFS.. or hire new staff who actually hit a ball at least once or twice in their live. When I bought this game I paid 24£ but to be honest I feel scammed. In my opinion the fair price for this is no more than 5£ which for me is still too high... asked for a refund but didn't got an answer.
A quick tip for EA... try to be customer obsessed a little bit or in few years you will collapse. This will be my last FIFA product which I'm going to spend money on. Time to migrate to PES and I suggest you guys do the same.

I have a feeling you wrote my thoughts! All the same especially with the devision. Same story. It was about 1200 points (4 divisions). One day I couldn’t win a single match. From 40 matches I lost 30-32 games. This cruelty lasted about a month. I could not beat, pass, make the top gear. My players did not run and walked through the swamp. My points dropped by about 450-470 points and I lowered to devision 6 (or 7). At one point, I started to win a match for a match. Already five weeks the same. My glasses are constantly running from 1050 to 1200 points. The same story in the weekend league. The nightmare happens the first ten matches I can do nothing with it. And the final result ... GOLD 3. Always !!! I myself feel that my skill has grown over this year, but the adviser says ... GOLD 3

The game has been completely abandoned by everyone but the promo team. Billion dollar company, with no gameplay updates since February. The Fifa 20 trailer looks like a carbon copy of this year. If you’re gonna buy, please do not pre order, wait until it’s released.

That makes no sense. If you spend £30 then that's a sale price. So basically you won't get it on launch day but you will get it when it's on sale so your vote should be no with your explanation of getting it on sale. Buying the game means you're getting it for full price.
The game comes out end of September, Christmas is in mid December so most who said no are basically getting it for Christmas for FREE or they'll just get it on sale around November since that's the Black Friday month sale where FIFA is always on sale on Black Friday.
