I can't vote 1, because I did Aouar, Goretzka and Sandro just in the past few weeks.
Some (very few tbf) very good ideas for content (especially future stars and the Ibra flashback SBC within the first 4 months), but apart from that just loads of errors, boring and horrible content.
they try... the quantity is often alright.. but the quality is always lacking that something. they love to disappoint the loyal fans it seems. bothersome.
Better than it's ever been, the requirements are up & down though. A few great value SBCs and some that are obscenely overpriced. Can't complain too much as there's normally always something at 6pm every day.
Idk if you guys remember how bad and dead FUT would be after a few months, players would become worthless and there would be nothing to do. SBC's changed the game so it depends if you're comparing content to FUT17/18 or to any fifa.
They made soooo many mistakes this year. From small things like the French/Dutch flag to Dennis Kluivert to big things like the whole Icon situation this year.
To be honest I don't think there was any vision or plan and they just winged it. Horrible strategic approach for a title this size imo.
TOTS I think was the biggest example. It had a lot of potential and some really good content, but overall it was a let down. For me it's mostly the consistency of the quality of the content that is not there. Also the way they communicate with the fanbase compared to other companies is laughable.
For me the highlights of content were TOTY, FFS, Flashback SBCs and TOTS rewards.
3 for the fact that there has been "non-stop content". However, it was executed so poorly that even EA should be ashamed. FFS was fun, TOTY was hype but that's always the case, but apart from that, it's been absolute trash.
Edit: Typing this comment made me realise a 3 was very generous. Ah well, almost weekend.
Delivery of content was a shambles at times......mistakes almost on a weekly basis
Flashbacks were great early part of the year then they became silly/stupid/meh
Icon Moments....upgrade from Prime way overpriced, and then to not give us the top icon moment prime's despite saying they would.
FFS was good, Carniball was good but the same ol players
Prime Moments commentary or lack of
Primes not having their traits
Lack of End of an Era cards for players like De Rossi, because he had a flashback (can be the only reason he didn't get one) just shows poor insight and planning
Being realistic and not being an entitled or over expectant brat.
Plenty of content.
Thinking EA did a horrible job this year doesn't make you an entitled or overexpectant brat tbh.
For a multi, multi million job company as EA, running a franchise as big as FIFA, we are allowed to expect better execution of content, don't you agree?
Better than last year. Some good additions like Future Star concept and more player SBC's.
I do find TOTS underwhelming and I would have liked to see more Advanced SBC's like the starter ones.
Made too many misstakes position-wise on players.
Brilliant all round, we don't ask for the content, nor do we have to spend money on the content.
We’ve absolutely spent money on the content. Where do you think your money goes when you buy the game? What they’re doing isn’t charity, EA make hundreds of millions off this game, and they’re not even trying too hard. New content dropping every day is something we should expect, something we deserve. It’s a huge part of the augmented product when it comes to FIFA. It’s one of reasons a lot of people buy this game.
Stop seeing yourself as dollar signs to EA and start seeing yourself as the customer you are.

And the PIM thing was awful
But not great at all
Plenty of content.
This, and the overall release schedule of Icon SBCs.
