@EA_Andy can you answer this!?
i enjoy doing SBC's. i do SBC's almost every day. i cant go 100 players without getting a bidding ban. sometimes for 20 minutes, sometimes an hour, sometimes for 12 hours.
Its part of a game i paid for, when i get a ban i cannot play part of a game that i paid for! why is this?! why cant you stop it?!
there are ways to stop bots, i also get the verification thing, which is completed. so why on earth are bidding bans in the game?????????

I haven't had a bid ban since FUT began. Not being funny but if you get them even half as often as you claim you probably are doing something wrong.

im not sniping. (its not possible to snipe on Web App as you cant be quick enough)

This is on the Web App, never been banned on console but it takes 10x longer to buy players on console so i do it on the web app.

this is the point. Its not like im doing anything that isnt intended to be in the game, so why stop someone doing it! its absurd.

It’s actually embarrassing that anybody supports EA on the idea of transfer market bans.

It's usually when a high amount of bids/purchases have been done in a short space of time.

It will usually clear within 24 hours.

Thank you, but why is this even a thing? Why cant i place a high amount of bids/purchase in a short space of time?
And to quantify it, i am simply completing SBC's through the web app. So im probably bidding on/buying a maximum of 100 players an hour.

@EA_Andy please can you investigate this issue. its absolutely ridiculous that i cannot bid/buy players on the web app and get banned every 100 or so players. There has to be a trigger that causes this, the developers must know, can i please be told how to avoid this whilst still being able to use the game that i paid for.

You'll need to try reducing the number of bids/purchases you're making in a short space of time.

You can twist the words however you like, I was simply answering the question on how to avoid this.

At the end of the day we have to have limits in the game to keep the market fair for everyone, and obviously I can't go into details in how to avoid this specifically.

The way the market works is the same for everyone, so there's unlikely to be a specific issue here other than needing to tone down the number of bids/purchases made.

So you are saying you should not be bidding on like 5 card simultaneously? In a game mode which is like 50% focused on market/other content and 50% on gameplay, that is just plain ridiculous.

What’s fair for everyone is you make coins, you can do whatever you want with them, anytime you want, because you made them. In this case the market still works the same for everyone too by the way. Market being affected or not, that shouldn’t be the way to solve it, and if there is noway to solve it then so be it, let the market get affected.

I'm saying whatever Shezzzzzzz is doing to get locked out would need changing.

I don't think most people run into this issue which is why I suggested reducing down the number of bids/purchases.

I don't think I ever said you shouldn't be bidding on multiple items at the same time.

Not specifically, but that's how you get blocked from bidding on the web app, put 5 cards in your watch list which are ending at the same time and try to win all of them, if you make 10 bids in 20 seconds, that's 2 bids per card, thats not even that much, you get a temp ban and you will lose all those auctions. So as you suggest, I should reduce doing this, so I should instead bid on only 1 card and bid in 15 second intervals. Its sounds like overexaggerating, but its not, that's how I bid on the web app to prevent getting blocked. Thanks to this I don't even bother with bidding anymore.

They can't tell the difference between a human and a bot so they need these low limits in place to stop bots DDOS'ing the servers.

Imagine if they went back to a few years ago allowing you to send multiple requests per second, you would never win a bargain item on BIN again due to the bots hammering the servers.

Last year EA told shareholders that they have over 40 million active FIFA accounts yet the game "only" sells around 14M copies. Most of those other 26M accounts are bots.

What Andy said makes sense, you just need to turn the bidding down a notch.

I’ve only been “bid banned” once, and it only lasted for an hour.
Tbf I did bid on a ‘million’ cards in the span of 10 minutes on the webapp. It never happened on the console market.

You must go all out if you get a whole 24 hour. lol
Still cant blame EA, it would be different if we didnt have the webapp I bet. However, bots and so on must be stopped.

@EA_Andy part of me understands the issue and i do thank you for replying. However, the other side of me is absolutely stunned that youre telling me to play the game less to avoid being banned. Bidding on cards is "playing the game"
I never played before Fifa 18 so i dont know what it used to be like, but there must be another way for EA to stop bots then the current method of just banning them after so many bid/buys within a certain amount of time.

Exactly. Where does it say you can't snipe or try and search for a low priced player. If EA refuse to stop ABs and allow other coin farming why cant regular players take advantage of low listed players

@EA_Andy in 40 minutes i have bid on and bought a total of 88 players. enough to do 8 x SBC's and again i have a ban on the Web App

Are you honestly telling me that i need to buy slower than this? 2 a minute? Come on
