The shoots I take doesn't go where I aim the arrow at all! My players can't curve the ball anymore, it just goes in a straight line. Eusebio feels so bad with his shoot that I loosing games because of him. What is wrong!? It also takes ages to get a shoot off

It's actually insane. Should win sooo much more games than I currently am. I have to round the GK on 1v1 because I can't curve it around him or shot a lowdriven...

Definitely not. Looking at saved clips in my feed from friends all weekend of shots going everywhere, vicious tackles going unpunished, random passing and shots going through keepers. Something went wrong this weekend and we all know it

In that position just smash it near post. Time it if you can. Finesse shots for me have been properly broken since they fixed the timed finesse from earlier on.
They used to be my best shot, now I still use them more than I should out of habit but definitely miss more than I should because of how bad rng is.
Remember when we lost the curve and shoot, but we got through it.

Because the player is pretty much straight on and needs to be at more of an angle to get more of a curved finesse on the shot.
Then there's also the fact you may have angled the analog stick too far, also resulting in the shot going wide and like Rob said, in that situation, you would have been better off smashing it near post.
