So TOTS is here and I noticed we’re lacking a thread for reviews and trying out new players is a part of TOTS I always enjoy so if you have used any of the latest TOTS cards, please share your impressions

Only down side is that he doesnt have that much energy left in the end of the game. Mostly bought him for Rodri but might even keep.
He is a steal at 250 imo
Pros
- Has good strength allied to high aggression so he wins the majority of midfield duels.
- Absolutely rapid due to the 90 accelaration and covers large distances similar to how TOTY Kante feels to use.
- 4* skills is another pro as like it or not a La Croqueta here and there can open up a drop back user.
- Currently he’s going for 350k (ish) which is decent value for coins but I do expect him to drop if we get a guaranteed TOTS SBC tonight and also if he gets a re-release for Ligue 1 TOTS so should be even more of bargain.
Cons
- Finishing is an obvious weakness of the card though he did score two in the 12 games I’ve used him...one was a green timed power shot from outside the box and the other a weak foot non timed shot that hit the post and went in from near the penalty spot.
- Despite being a decent height (5ft 11”) he doesn’t win many headers against taller midfielders like Gullit due to his poor jumping.
Overall, I’d recommend him to anyone after a CDM/box to box midfielder but I’d pair him up with someone with better shooting like Gullit or TOTY Modric.
Packed him and haven’t really enjoyed him to be honest. Still feels weak and unlike TOTY Kante he doesn’t have the explosive pace. Shifting him tonight.
Had Ndombele, good player, average stamina, worth 200k max
Got Rodri, he is solid, does his job really well, decent pace and a smashing longshot/finesse, deffo a little gem that u can get for free
All tried at LCM in 41212 with Kante CDM and Doucoure RCM
He’s good dude, very solid and super agile
I currently have Cancelo on 7 chem as RCM for hyperlink to Ronaldo, SMS RB and I swap him and Cancelo in game. However, would use SMS as a RB and swap Cancelo for Can if he's good enough.
Used sentinel on him and he is a unit on the left side
Can - Excellent CB with a shadow card. He doesnt lose any headers against Ibra or CR7. Great passing and strength.
Telles - Works great as a LM because he got attacking qualities. His crossing always hits the right player in the box. And doesnt let down if he gets into the box for a finish because i have a hawk card on him.
Emre looks excellent - defo going to pick him up
Mcgeady is really quite poor, same with Odegaard. Other than that I haven't used any other TOTS yet.
Just do the objective?
I doubt I'll have time to play enough games, div 2 isn't the easiest. I'll give it a go but I'm not grinding every night for 43k
this one i do agree, Onana stat wise like inform ddg but perform underpar for me (using ajax defender UCL de ligt, Scream blind, UCL Taglifico to get full chem on Onana)
Exactly why I chose to make my end game team almost all Icons which play above stats rather than below like TOTS players. Plus and Icon Endgame team will hold my interest longer.
Still think the TOTYs are better than nearly all icons to be honest after using all the top PIMs even R9.
He's incredible, you can definitely tell the difference from the FB. I'm not convinced he's 1m better, but he is absolutely better.
