Speed up lag

I suffer from speed up lag whenever i play fifa upstairs (i usually play in living room, but sometimes i have to play upstairs!).
I know its my internet being lame but what i want to know, isdoes it matter if your home or away? I assume that determines whether your the host or not.

If it's Rivals or WL then no, it shouldn't matter as you aren't hosting anything.

You will either need to fix your WiFi signal (and even then you may still get it) or hard wire to your router either through PowerLines or a long cable.

I can't answer that question, but I suffer from speed up lag on avg 3 times a game. It's got to be the worst type of lag. It is 90% a turnover, and will cot me a chance on goal 30% of the time. It seems to show up at the worst times!! I never get it in any other game, only fifa when playing DR or Weekend League. Never Squad battles.

Ahh ok cheers. I never get it downstairs, so I think its due to crappy signal (even though it still shows 3 out of 4 bars. Currently use a wifi extender so might try and hard wire that see if that makes it more secure. Cheers pal

Tbf i get it in a few other games. So i know it's my internet. Runs perfectly downstairs. So frustrating sometimes!
