For Canada to England they need to type 01144 at the start to replace the zero so for example 011447977747492

England to Canada you type 001 then area code then number

Ok so just to clarify if my number starts with 077, to call/text me from a Canadian device it'd be 0114477-rest of number?

To call yes, to text I'm not so sure. To be honest I've got a few mates in the states who all text me on +44 rather than messing about with 01144 so it may be worth asking them to try +44 first.
